There is actually no articulable concern here which can be documented. It is a fiction that a convention can be called which can morph into an out of control entity that deviates from it’s SPECIFICALLY called purpose. It is a further fiction that such a convention would have any binding authority. Those two things are simply not rational fears.
It is a far greater rational fear that the entities which have been allowed to propagate under the cover of FIGHTING communism and promoting law and order will wind up being the agency of destruction of the Constitution itself... like the events in Florida tonight show .
If you wanna know the reality of where the greater danger is, well.... that is where it is.
There is no constitutional authority for a national police force like the FBI, yet we have scads of folk who consider themselves good patriotic Americans who define conservative principles by supporting entities like them, and are shocked at the fact that they have morphed into STASI. Didn’t even need a convention, either.
I, like you, have plenty of fears of losing my freedoms, but they are not rooted in an article V convention.
We are on the knife edge of losing everything.

and day out, but you are dead set certain they won’t get to
circumvent an Article V convention tenet.
