These are people that dismiss Constitutional tenets day in
and day out, but you are dead set certain they won’t get to
circumvent an Article V convention tenet.
What in the sam hell do you base that faith on?
I have the same faith that I have when I confidently predict that NO NEW LAND SPEED RECORDS WILL BE SET ON MY GRANDSON’S TRICYCLE.
You see, the motivations, determination, willingness, none of that matters if you don’t have a vehicle that will get you there. An article 5 convention is not designed to do the kind of radical changes you fear. I do have some faith in the framers of the constitution. Because I have bothered to read and investigate the system for conventions they set up, it helps a bit.
Remember, they anticipated this issue and gave us a very specifically engineered tool to correct it. I sorta think they are smarter than us, when it comes to political theory.
Maybe you should give it a look rather than just mechanicaly repeating.. “no, too dangerous, can’t risk it, the commies are going to get me.” Your call, though.
I certainly agree with your assessment of the dire state of the leftist cabal in this country and the absolutely pathetic state of awareness and understanding of the average citizen. I considered leaving here some time ago, not because I thought I would find a “better” place, but one where the government was so dysfunctional they would be unable to efficiently track you.
