The office of Florida Governor Ron DeSantis is set to make a "major" announcement Thursday morning, a spokesperson said.
Taking to Twitter Wednesday night, DeSantis' press secretary Christina Pushaw teased the impact of the announcement and said it will cause the "liberal media meltdown of the year."
"MAJOR announcement tomorrow morning from @GovRonDeSantis. Prepare for the liberal media meltdown of the year," Pushaw wrote. "Everyone get some rest tonight."
Some people immediately began speculating if the announcement concerns the 2024 presidential election, as the Florida governor is well-liked among Republican voters.

Maybe he and PDJT have been talking and Trump will announce at CPAC that he’s throwing his support behind RD for POTUS.
But Trump doesn’t speak at CPAC until the last day, so that’s probably not it.
In any case, no matter what Trump decides to do for 2024, he’s given us some strong candidates for this year. In the end, that could be his best gift to America.
Well, Trump won here. Our system is now pretty good - a lot of work was done and laws were passed after the 2008 election, and refined further after 2016 to account for the creative new ways today cheating that the Dems had developed.
If Dems win here, it’s because our Yankee immigrants actually voted for them.

It's a little late for states' rights arguments when the Deep State has taken control of the Federal government.

No, DeSantis is up for re-election in November. The last thing he would want to do is to announce he is seeking another office and not finish his new term as Governor.
A Trump/DeSantis White House would be a formidable enemy for the Deep State.
Unless this kind of hype is associated with the Florida governor announcing he is turning down a final request for pardoning or commuting the sentences of convicted Demonicrats to be executed for violating Section 20 of the Florida Constitution, conservatives should avoid the use of ‘bombshell’ hype.
