Former President Donald Trump is endorsing "Eric" in a race for Missouri's open Senate seat that features two top candidates who have that first name......"

What I call a weak-kneed (little r)epublican, who determines because Eric Greitens was charged, but later exonerated of the charges, not by jury, but rather by evidence, that he is unworthy of his support.
I have always been put off by Greitens. In fact is 2016 I voted against him in the general by choosing a third party candidate. I do not trust the guy. Vicki has my vote.
Where is your sense of humor? It was way too late to endorse, this was just a funny way of saying that.
IMHO it was just a tension reliever.
He QUIT!!! President Trump had a helluva lot more thrown at him and he stayed in the job to which he was elected.
Greitens built up a group of people that worked very hard to get him elected back in 2016, he let them down.
So what? President Trump’s statement does not name which Eric he is endorsing.
BTW, just got a call from Eric Schmitt says President Trump has endorsed him.
He quit because he did not want to be a distraction, for the sake of his state.
You know proper Freeper etiquette is that you should ping the freeper you are writing about especially when you make snide comments.
We do not know each other but because my opinion differs from your opinion, I’m weak-kneed, never considering that possibility that Greitens is unworthy of your support.
When the going got tough the last time, Greitens quit, no reason for that not to happen again.
I have no doubt that he will win the primary, plenty of democrats will cross over to make that happen and then we will have Todd Akins 2.0.
Say hello to your new Senator Trudy Busch Valentine.
I reluctantly voted for him in 2016, never expected the spectacular fail he gave us in 2018.
And his quitting gave us Mike Parsons and isn’t that just the best thing ever!
I sure am glad President Trump never quit when the going got tough.
I have no doubt that he will win the primary, plenty of democrats will cross over to make that happen and then we will have Todd Akins 2.0.
And you are assisting them, however, you are apparently to blind to even recognize that fact.
Say hello to your new Senator Trudy Busch Valentine
Only if you waste your vote.
Did Greitens pick Parson to run with him as Lt. Governor position, or did the feckless voters pick him? I believe the voters voted him in, is that correct? I'm not from Missouri, so I am not sure how that office is filled.
Trump is a man that stands alone, and is a fighter, that's why he has so much support. Mean tweets be damned. Though I hear too many on this board do not see that fact, and are now wanting Ron DeSantis instead.
I have a Missouri FB friend who is rock solid (constantly arguing well against liberals on FB) and he also says something is very, very off with Greitens. Normally I wouldn’t put much stock in feelings that can’t be expressed in solid terms, but I have come to trust his judgment and seeing others react in a similar way puts out all kinds of red flags about him. It’s not just his personal past.
Ask not for whom the Trump trolls.
He trolls for thee!
“BTW, just got a call from Eric Schmitt says President Trump has endorsed him.”
Yes. Schmitt was on the the Glenn Beck show today and said he had Trump’s endorsement.
Schmitt sounded great BTW. We need people like him that are passionate about conservative issues and can speak well.
Missouri Times? Really? The founder of that paper was/is neck-deep in rino sewage and was an active participant in the shady crap behind railroading Greitens.
Here’s my take. I worked with Eric Greiten’s father Rob. Never cared for the guy, strutted around like a cocky little rooster. His mother was my youngest son’s pre-school teacher. Very nice lady, affectionately called Mrs. G. My hope was that Eric would be more like his mother. Unfortunately, he’s more like his father.
That’s who I would have voted for. But being redistricted back into the first, I opted for the Democrat ticket to vote against Cori Bush.
“It was way too late to endorse”
Trump just a few minutes ago made an endorsement in the Michigan Governor primary which is TODAY.
The difference is that the Michigan Gov race is an easy pick now since one candidate leads by over 20 points, the Missouri Senate race OTOH is close and polls have been all over the place. But “somebody” named Eric is fairly sure to win.
