There’s a temporary drop in beef right now as ranchers are forced to cull their herds. Good time to buy. Won’t be this cheap ever again.

The 10# box of Quaker Oats has gone up from $8.99 last fall to almost $15 per box as of yesterday.

However, they were clearing out potting soil and got it for a fantastic price, so that helped make up for it.

“Bidenflation is so bad stores are locking up Spam.”

I saw Spam at Costco yesterday and paused, asking myself, should I stock up on that in case Biden screws things up even worse than he already has?

I haven’t eaten Spam since I was a kid in the 70’s. My mom would make fried spam sandwiches, and I loved them. At least I did when I was a little kid anyway...

I can’t get the fresh Walmart deliveries but their online shopping of shipped food is so limited that it barely helps me at all.
Almost zero of the Walmart store brand goods and cheap versions are shipped, flour, canned vegetables, canned beans, diet soda, sparkling water, cleaning goods, flour tortillas, chips, crackers, condiments it is very difficult for me to reach the free $35.00 shipping amount, and that usually has to wait for when I buy a big bag of pet food or such.

If price isn’t a worry then there are some version of what you are looking for that Walmart will ship you, but in reality one can say that Walmart is not doing online shopping except in a boutique type version.

Spam is so greasy and salty. Some food tastes ok when you don’t have food.

My parents would have a spam night occasionally. But my mother starved after ww2.. spam when it arrived must have been a nectar of gods.

My groceries are all DELIVERED (my choice of date and time) and I get fresh meats and vegies along with everything else. Some can get shipped but that’s my option. I’m in Upstate NY.

I buy spam and baked beans for my son in laws hunting camp. He’s all about hunting and fishing...a bunch of fish hooks would make him happy.

"I am more careful to not waste food, and to buy less. I eat out the same amount but order a little less food when I do. Spending more on wine 🍷 instead 😀"

I could continue to live as before, but I'm taking the current state as a reminder of how difficult things could get, and cutting back in advance. I enjoy reminding myself of how horrible Biden voters have made life for themselves.

I have about 90 cans of Spam because although I don’t like it as I did 30 years ago I still eat a can occasionally.

I just bought a 12 pack for $25.00 a month ago, didn’t need it but at that price I jumped on it.

Store delivery is not available to everyone and it is different from online shopping and shipping.

Store delivery is simply home delivery of your normal shopping, ice cream, eggs, lettuce, bread, butter, everything that is at the store.

Amazon has that as well in some cities, it is a nice option for those areas.

My wife loves sandwiches of fried Hot & Spicy Spam, on white bread with mayo. Not my favorite, but OK if I’m hungry enough.

Margarine and sugar for me. Always white bread — whole wheat was a treat.

Just had Sunday dinner.

Steak burger over mashed potatoes and gravy with onions/mushrooms.

I haven’t eaten this since childhood. Boy ...was it tasty. Along with a salad.

All this just might backfire on Democrats as many families will pull together to get through this unwinding of the civilized world.

That’s a big difference in price! Especially considering Sam’s is OWNED by Wal-Mart! I’ve often gone to Wal-Mart to snag something I would consider a specialty and not available at Sam’s. Chow-chow for example. I used to buy canned beef in the smaller cans at Wal-Mart...but that’s gotten ridiculous.
