The former chief editor of the Chinese Communist Party's state tabloid, the Global Times, suggested the country shoot down U.S. Speaker of the House Nancy Pelosi for visiting Taiwan if her plane refuses to divert course.
China's government has warned it will take "forceful measures" if Pelosi visits Taiwan after the Financial Times reported she would travel to the Chinese-claimed island nation next month.
Hu Xijin, former chief editor of the Global Times, called Pelosi's planned visit an "invasion," and suggested shooting down the speaker's plane if U.S. fighter jets escort it to Taiwan.

I think the play would be a blockade and squeeze Taiwan into submission. Way less casualties and way more chance for sucess. Plus look for China to use biological warfare against that tiny island nation. The ChiComs will blockade them for the safety of the world to “stop the spread”.......

My guess is this is typical Pelosi trip on taxpayer dollar with 100 of her relatives. Doesn’t sound like Executive Branch asked her to go, or even wants her to go. Per Trump’s statement Pelosi “would only make things worse,” with Taiwan. Stay home Nancy. Republican reps should not back this..just another of Nancy’s vacations on taxpayers backs.
The problem is if they shoot down a plane carrying Pelosi and hour later, they will want to shoot another one down.
We get tons of chips from Taiwan. Pelosi’s House just passed a bill giving money to chip makers. Is she going to Taiwan to get her 10 percent? Is she bringing Paul so he can Tie-One-On?
