President Trump wants the Federal government to be involved in a lot of things which it should not be involved in.

Maybe so, but until the States step and decide to lead on those issues, at least he is trying to solve the problem.

Not so much the states.

I liked the one about establishing tent cities on the outskirts of town. (#13). We won’t have to walk past them in public parks or sidewalks. They could be put up in one day. I’d use empty warehouses. They can be heated in winter. Just get them outta sight. We have no obligation to feel sorry for them.

President Trump wants the citizens of EVERY State to enjoy the republican form of Government The Constitution guarantees them, and to be protected from invasion as The Constitution also demands the States ensure. Where States fail in those fundamentals, it is not, then, usurpation or a Tenth Amendment issue for FedGov to step in, take up the slack, and ensure the citizens in those failing States get what’s Constitutionally guaranteed them.
