(Reuters) - A coalition of rightwing “constitutional sheriffs,” who claim legal power in their jurisdictions that exceeds U.S. federal and state authorities, has a new calling: investigating conspiracy theories that the 2020 election was rigged against former President Donald Trump.
The Constitutional Sheriffs and Peace Officers Association has teamed with True the Vote, a Texas nonprofit and purveyor of debunked voter-fraud claims, to recruit like-minded sheriffs nationwide to investigate 2020 stolen-election allegations and to more aggressively police future voting.
The partnership, detailed last week at the association’s annual gathering in Las Vegas, aims to intensify a movement already underway. At least four ideologically aligned county sheriffs in Michigan, Wisconsin, Kansas and Arizona have launched election-fraud probes since the 2020 vote. None has established evidence of systemic fraud.
“This is our top priority. It’s our duty,” Richard Mack, founder of the constitutional sheriffs organization, told Reuters in an interview at the Las Vegas meeting. Mack also touted the True the Vote partnership later in the week at FreedomFest, a national gathering of libertarian-leaning thinkers and political figures, where he urged that sheriffs “join us in this holy cause.”

Sheriff Arpaio exposed Obama’s fake birth certificate yet no prosecutor acted upon these findings.
Why would we expect different results this time?
Most county sheriffs are independently elected and not tools and fools of the other parts of the county governments.
Look for moves in blue states to change how sheriffs get their jobs, from elected to appointed by the county government and able to be dismissed at will by the county government.

They did however do something strange, they gave a ‘tell’ that they fear this approach. They published the article. If the election was clean, why are they worried about a few sheriffs investigating? The Sheriff’s would only confirm the election was clean, helping the American public with their spoon fed media line. They said the “FBI was silent”.
They plan on having Federal Government block the Sheriff’s. Problem is, they don’t have jurisdiction and they know it! They fear the inevitable, and it’s not the Sheriff’s confirming a clean election.
It’s too late, unless you have serious plans to punish what happened, and the ability to ignore wackamolee paid liar judges who want to stop you.
It’s really becoming too late because on September 3, all records of the 2020 election may be legally disposed of. They must be kept for 22 months.

Will the actual truth ever come out, about the 2020 U.S. General Election? Ditto, where Barack Obama was born? Ditto, Barack Obamas’ medical records? Ditto, Barack Obamas’ college records? Consider the 2000 election, Bush / Gore. After the final court decision, last count and election made final, some news organizations went back and recounted the ballots to ‘prove’ Gore actually won. Nobody seemed to make a big deal of it, no one screamed and denied any thing. It was an attitude of ‘If they really want to, let them spend their time and money on it.’
And Bush won again. . .
But now?? NO one wants even the hint of a double check into what happened. NONE.
Reuters is FOS, but it’s good news that CSA is teaming with True the Vote because that is how we start cutting the heads off the democrat’s hydra.
If the local constitutional sheriff deploys uniformed deputies to observe vote counting, a lot of funny stuff will fail to take place just by changing the risk/reward perception.
