A Columbus man has been charged with impregnating a 10-year-old Ohio girl, whose travel to Indiana to seek an abortion led to international attention following the Supreme Court's decision to overturn Roe v Wade and activation of Ohio's abortion law.
Gershon Fuentes, 27, whose last known address was an apartment on Columbus' Northwest Side, was arrested Tuesday after police say he confessed to raping the child on at least two occasions. He's since been charged with rape, a felony of the first degree in Ohio.
Columbus police were made aware of the girl's pregnancy through a referral by Franklin County Children Services that was made by her mother on June 22, Det. Jeffrey Huhn testified Wednesday morning at Fuentes' arraignment. On June 30, the girl underwent a medical abortion in Indianapolis, Huhn said.

The illegal, Fuentes (27 years old), has been in Columbus 7 years and doesn’t speak English.
He works at a local cafe.
His real identity is questionable.
He lived with the mother and her children.
Both Fuentes and the child’s siblings DNA are being tested.
And yes, left wing nuts grabbed the story trying to push their agenda. No details were given because the mother was liable (and a piss poor parent). Yost goes on TV and BOOM, detectives decided they must ‘further’ their look into this case. The goal, embarrass Yost. The article is written to hide the details listed above. The details are there but not focused on. Most of the article focuses on abortion, not the heinous crime committed by the mother and Fuentes or the siblings. The little girl was 9 when she got pregnant.

The statement above would not have been necessary if the defendant wasn’t living or at the mother’s house frequently.

The Ohio AG is wrong it happened to a 13 year old girl in Shenaodoah,Pennsylvania a few years ago.
A 31 year old Mexican was raping her when she would come home from school and she got pregnant. Her mother was working so she was alone.
