Probably a “ghost” AR. Thats one of their main targets right now. They get them first, then go after regular store bought AR’s. Whoever the guy was, he was firing really fast, I’m surprised he got that many people.

Sounds like an AK action, but who knows about echos? First vid I saw sounded less like an AK...I’d have guessed AR.

Wait a sec. They’re ASSUMING? I was under the impression they had multiple witness descriptions. I don’t really care what the shooter’s skin color or gender is. But if they have a BOLO out it’s useful if it’s accurate. Geeesh.
Or- the person who reported it said “assuming” but doesn’t understand what that means!

Barely able to fire weapon. Semi auto, shoots but doesn’t aim into crowds, panic fire. Drops weapon and blends into crowds.

I clearly heard 16 rapidly fired shots but the mayhem prevented me from hearing more.
I noticed the spokesman didn’t say AR-15.
The number of seriously wounded however lead me to to think (and based on the sounds of gun fire) perhaps an AK variant.
7.62 is a devastating round at 50-100 yards.

This is getting saturation coverage on cable news channels.
These days I’d be more surprised if it wasn’t an AR.
This.is nearly a perfect storm. Expect the gun bammibh bills and calls for a long time on this one.
I see an awful lot of Gay pride flags on light post going down the parade route on Main Street along with the American flag.

I’m speculating the shooter wanted to target Conservatives.
I’m also speculating the shooter knew the area.
