Mayor Eric Adams had no idea how rotten the Big Apple was at its core before taking office — telling The Post he was “shocked” to learn just “how bad this place is.”
During an exclusive interview conducted as Adams rode the subways overnight for more than three hours last week, the former NYPD transit cop said he was astounded by the botched “deployment of resources” that has New Yorkers on edge amid a nearly 40 percent surge in major crimes this year.
“Let me tell you something: When I started looking into this, I was shocked at how bad this place is,” he said of the city.
Adams — who campaigned on a promise to restore order to an increasingly lawless Gotham — said the scales fell from his eyes when he began reviewing internal city operations following his swearing in moments after midnight on New Year’s Day.

Imagine his subway ride. His armed aides in suits tell all the homeless and drug dealers and mentally deranged riders to “just act normally so the Mayor can size up the situation when he boards the subway with us.”
And on his evening ridealongs:
Mayor: “Uh, I had no idea so many of the criminals carjacking, stabbing old ladies, pulling women joggers over to rape them and making drug deals at school yards were, they were, uh, persons of color. A wake up call.”

The problem is that morons like Adams - almost every Democrat mayor in the USA - has no critical thinking skills that would help them reach the conclusion that it is Democrat ideology/policy/philosophy that has ruined his city. And there is not much hope for them every waking up. Washington D.C. Los Angeles. San Francisco. Seattle (my home town). Baltimore. Chicago. New Orleans. The list goes on and on and on. All cities destroyed by Democrats.
