Does the fact that they WEREN’T heavily armed make any difference to our lying media? If I recall, ONE or TWO people in or near the Capitol were eventually charged with possession of handguns, but none were fired. The vast majority of the crowd at the rally - 99.9999% - were not armed, much less “heavily armed.”

So, if Trump desperately wanted to go to the Capitol, that would suggest that he did not think it was dangerous. I don’t understand why this means anything. He demands that the limo driver take him to the Hill. Are they suggesting that Trump was going to lead an insurrection?
