His concurrence was in the result - that Mississippi could enforce it’s post-15 week abortion ban law.
He disagreed with the reasoning.

I am guessing that Roberts’ point of view may have prevailed in this case, but the leak made that impossible. That’s a pretty strong argument that the leak came from the right.

Thomas should be Chief Justice, with Alito as his right-hand man, bringing the Trump Three together for more 5-4 rulings.

Prove that Traitor Roberts wasn’t the leaker.
[How hard can it be to ID the perp? Is Traitor Roberts still in charge of “the investigation”? What’s his time-line? etc.]

.
Roberts clearly believes there is a right to an abortion.
People are muddying the waters, but it’s right there in his words:
“Our precedents in this area ground the abortion right in a woman’s ‘right to choose,’” he says. “The law at issue allows abortions up through fifteen weeks, providing an adequate opportunity to exercise the right Roe protects. “
John Roberts
He also wrote that overruling Roe would somehow damage the legal system, and was “unsettling” to the nation.
Reminiscent of Obamacare blender-pretzel twisting justification.

I don’t agree with you, and I do not think that was the case.I obviously don’t know either but it would have been a good, and pretty obvious, strategy.
I can’t imagine Roberts changing his vote after the leak. He, of all people, wouldn’t want to show the court responding to public opinion.
I’d expect everyone around SCOTUS to know that.

If Merrick Garland had become a justice rather than Neil Gorsuch I have no doubt that Roberts would have voted with the liberals for a 5-4 loss for us.

He also misses the most fundamental error of Roe - it aborgated the Constitution clear mandate that basic Constitutitional rights are written not by judges, created out of whole cloth, but by we the people through the processes of writing and formally amending the Constitution.^^^^This ^^^^
Let’s see how good the “Thomas” court really is. I want to see a huge roll back in the court’s treatment of the commerce clause. Marxists have been using the commerce clause since FDR to invent powers for the federal government. That is the origin of the deep state and everything that is wrong with government. It’s going to take a whole lot more testicular fortitude to reverse commerce clause cases than overturning Roe and Casey.
