Rather, they left it up to elected politicians and legislators to decide when and how to regulate abortion. You know, JUST LIKE the U.S. Supreme Court did this week!

Reminds me of all the protestant and orthodox Christians on here demanding Catholic bishops deny communion to pro-abortion politicians, even though THEIR church leaders won't lift a finger to do so.
So whether it comes from the left or right, the motto for making decisions about abortion policy seems to be "Do as we say -- NOT as we do!"
