Dems want to reduce the numbers of criminals killed by taking away your guns.

The paper then noted, “These sorts of deadly clashes in which the intended victims survive and assailants die are rare in Philadelphia, but are becoming more common as a growing number of people have legally armed themselves amid rising numbers of carjackings, shootings and homicides.”

As should be.

It’s a great way to reduce recidivism.

For commie big city newspapers, killing in self-defense is lumped in with criminal homicide because the papers are supporters of every form of moral perversion, not just sexual.

justified homicides jumped 67 percent from 2020 to 2021.

"Justified" meaning the right guy got shot. Consider it successful social engineering.

Police have been increasingly hesitant to use deadly force, fearing a riot response. Citizens protecting their lives don’t care.

2019 FBI UCR (the latest available)
340 police justified homicides (down from 457 in 2015)

https://ucr.fbi.gov/crime-in-the-u.s/2019/crime-in-the-u.s.-2019/tables/expanded-homicide-data-table-14.xls

386 civilian self-defense homicides (up from 333 in 2015)

https://ucr.fbi.gov/crime-in-the-u.s/2019/crime-in-the-u.s.-2019/tables/expanded-homicide-data-table-15.xls

There are now more criminals being killed by civilians in self defense than by police (MUCH more, since the FBI table only counts those self-defense homicides which were initially classified as self-defense, not those which a court later decided was self-defense)

I predict violent crime will drop drastically in the near future.

The majority of violent crimes are committed by a small number of criminals. Generally under 100 in any area. Begin to remove these people and violent crime goes down. And while fiction tells you that you have just created a "power vacuum" that some petty criminal will rise to fill that is just not the way it actually works. You have to have something seriously wrong with your soul to enact violence on someone who has done you no wrong. There are just not that many people like that and as you remove the malevolent from the community the ones who might be inclined in that direction are discouraged from going down that path.

What the government refuses to do, the public steps up and
does.

No trial. No soft sentences. No millions wasted...
No officers having to deal with this treacherous person.

I say this is a good start. I hope it does increase
each year.

Crime will definitely come down if enough legal carriers get involved.

People need the ability to defend themselves more than ever. Lazy ass and corrupt cops in Philadelphia are nearly always the last to the scene of a crime. The Soros backed DA has created a revolving door for criminals. All of this is a real shame for victims of crime that defend themselves. It is a long and costly to defend yourself from the criminal injustice system. They have no idea who the good guys are.

The Inquirer observes that “justified homicides jumped 67 percent from 2020 to 2021.” And 2022 is on pace to surpass the number of justifiable homicides witnessed last year.

Excellent news!!!

If they keep that up, they’ll eventually see an unexpected drop in crime.

And the Soros DA will have less to do.
