Police officers were called to the home of Chicago's top prosecutor Kim Foxx for a domestic dispute earlier this month, it was revealed Friday.
Kelley Foxx, the husband of the powerful Cook County State's Attorney, called 911 just after 10 p.m. on June 4 and alleged that she slapped him over something that had been posted to Facebook, WGN first reported citing police records obtained through a Freedom of Information Act request.
The incident was later confirmed by Flossmoor Police Department records obtained by the Chicago Tribune and WMAQ-TV.
"[Kelley Foxx] explained that Kimberly got mad about something that was posted on Facebook that he did," one of the responding officers wrote in a police report. "Kimberly asked him to leave and he refused."
Foxx allegedly "became physical" when Kelley Foxx refused to leave and "grabbed his collar and threw down his video game controller" which he had used to try to turn on the TV before then allegedly slapping him on his left cheek.
The prosecutor allegedly admitted to another officer that "she did put hands on" her husband to guide him out of the house but said that she never slapped him.

“...threw down his video game controller...”
The last straw.
Pancake mommas make lousy district attorneys but the retards continue to vote for them.
Wow. Just, WOW!
And she’ll be re-elected in a landslide, I’ll bet! Yikes!
I recently returned to Chicago for a weekend, Memorial Day Weekend in fact. The city is a toilet, not as bad as Detroit, but it’s getting there.
You have roughly a 1/2 square mile from Water Tower to walk freely and safely, URING THE DAY, I doubt I would do that at night.
I saw no, mounted police. Very few squad cars parked, only those rushing to the various emergency shootings.
My point is this.
I CAN’T BELIEVE THAT LORI LIGHTFOOT WILL BE RE-ELECTED, BUT ODDLY ENOUGH, I THINK SHE WILL BE.
Have there been any polls between her and her competitors?
I used to LOVE spending time in Chicago. We’d take the commuter train from Milwaukee down there to shop. Always a fun way to spend the day.
I never felt unsafe, and this was in the late 80’s. Now, I wouldn’t go back if they paid me and carried my shopping bags! I won’t even shop in Milwaukee anymore - where I grew up.
I don’t think things will change in the short term, and in the long term it will require a whole new kind of security and surveillance.
All the major shops had Chicago police stationed INSIDE the stores. You were escorted in, one by one. They took your name and phone number, then you could browse thru the stores.
I saw very tourists there, esp when you’d see loads of Asians
A lot of young people are mostly, oblivious to the crime and pent-up anger all around.
Most troubling are the various nut cases up and down Michigan Ave. trying to engage you in a menacing fashion.
For example, there was one bare-chested chap, Sunday morning dribbling a basketball up and down Michigan Ave. between Oak and Chicago Streets. He’d dribble right up to your face, then dart away.
I am sure, if I made a gesture or response he’d throw the ball in my chest or face.
Many shops and restaurants closed for good it looks like.
Of course not. It follows today's norm that political figures, from Hillary to Sharpton and everyone in between, who are guilty of crimes of treason, tax evasion, lying under oath, get away with murder yet go unpunished. Yet, some wonder why the American people don't trust gov't.
Technically..she can’t put her hands on him to guide him out of the house
So
Guilty
I think a lot of us have cities we used to love to visit. For me, it was San Francisco. I went back two years ago and almost didn’t recognize it: human excrement on the sidewalks, used needles in the gutters, people passed out in doorways. I’ll never go back.
Now, what do the mayors of cities like Chicago, Detroit, SF, Seattle, Portland, and dozens of other used-to-be-nice-now-a-hellhole city mayors have in common?
If she were a REPUBLICAN.........
‘’Honor demands satisfaction Sir! It’s video game controllers at dawn!’’
Lightfoot will judging by NYC which first re-elected Comrade DiBlasio in 2017 after his horrendous first term and then elected the louse Eric Adams in 2021 when DiBlasio could not run again. While they were at it, the genius voters of NYC went 76-24 for Biden in 2020, but they were bested by Chicago's equally brilliant voters who went 82-18.
Yup, Lightfoot's a shoo-in.
Poor Police

Years back I worked off of Michigan Ave, occasionally we would venture down Michigan for lunch.
One of 0bama’s larger sons jumps out of the crowd into my boss’s face, also a large younger, and athletic type.
My fearless leader didn’t flinch as the jamoke did impressive karate moves within an inch of his face, while shouting, I taught Bruce Lee!
We did not go in that direction for lunch for some time afterward.
More TNB. They just can’t help themselves.
I trust she has voluntarily surrendered any and all firearms to the police. (do I need a /sarc tag?)
