Yes, he’s headed home soon.
H will be much more comfortable and will continue healing faster.
Continued prayers!
Thanks for the update and good news.
Wow, so sorry heโs going through this! ๐
Still praying ๐๐๐๐๐๐
Thank you!
Yep, what you said.
Yep. They’re awesome. Ours were on call 24/7 as well.
They need to check out of palliative still applies if Jim MAY (and I pray not) have to go back to the hospital. They outfit we used told us that ends on that point and we would have to re-apply (or doc signs off on, again ).
thank you...
thanks so much for the updates, JustAmy-pray that Jim is able to go home soon to recover/recuperate-with some good assistance for as long as needed-everyone recovers better/faster in their own familiar place...
Some good some bad.....Family wanting everything done.,,for many reasons.
Not wanting to let go....
Money.
And other reasons....I've seen family actively being horrible....to someone dying..but they want everything done....when that person is dying...
I could tell a lot of stories......
Jim is a great man......and I have supported him very much. I suspect when his wife died...he knew the time was near.
Hope I'm wrong.....
Best FRgards!!
Thanks for keeping us posted. Still praying.
Sounds like he may get to go home.
perhaps Iโm just hoping itโs something different. But when I was in the hospital getting treatment, they sent palliative care to my room. It shocked me. They said they use palliative care to manage pain and care. Please tell us that is the reason they sent in palliative care as well ? ๐๐ผโค๏ธ
It sounds as though the POA/HPAA issues have been resolved...a very good thing.
I donโt know about palliative, but I know my FIL is on hospice and if we want him treated at the hospital for anything, they just suspend it and then reinstate but no more paperwork is needed. My MILs palliative care continued throughout all of her treatments and hospital stays.
Prayers for Jim! And prayers for Chris! It is very hard to be the caregiver.
I had palliative care at one time as well. Things were very bad. However, . They explained that it is misunderstood that they are only used at end of life care. But, are used as a hospital dept resource - to manage pain and comfort when what the floor staff is not working. Iโm praying this is the same for Jim.
Thank you. More prayers up for Jim.
So sorry to hear about Jim. Prayers for him and the family. Hope Jim gets better soon.
I agree.
Ask for a new Culture & Sensitivity be done to determine best I.V. antibiotic be given.
