What about Ukraine losses? They do not have the same population—unless NATO sends in Armies—they are doomed. Best to seek peace now and keep Odessa or lose it too. The Donbas is becoming a meat grinder. Reminds me of the Civil War—in the end the south ran out of men—Grant was willing to take the losses—Lee could not. Russia can still build and equip armies, Ukraine is running low. The longer the war, the more land and people Mr. Z loses. Sometimes being a hero means having to make hard choices. Make the best of what you can get. Give peace a chance as the old hippies said.

Indian and other non western news sources are reporting groups of Ukie soldiers found hands tied, bullet in the back of the head. A few Ukie Territorial soldiers video stating “ traitors” and “ deserters” and those refusing to fight are being executed.
Exactly why the little beggar Zelensky will be ousted after Russia finishes it’s meal. The truth will come to light, and from the Ukies themselves ( like Mariupol).

Russia has practically ceased to suffer losses during the special operation in Ukraine, this is the result of a change in the approach to the conduct of hostilities - Chairman of the State Duma Defense Committee Kartapolov.
“We have practically stopped losing people. The extreme figures released by the Ministry of Defense in March are 1,351 dead. At present, of course, there are wounded, but there are no such number of dead. And this is the result of a change in approach to the tactics of warfare,” he said.

That is quite an admission from Zelensky, not from Putin. I thought Ukraine was supposed to be winning.

7,000 SOUNDS about right.
But it’s certainly not 30,000. Nobody is dumb enough to believe that.
Ukies on the other hand have more or less run out of frontline soldiers and are drafting teenagers and using territorial guard ytoops on the front line i.e. just a basic meat-grinder. People who have never touched a firearm are being sent out to face the world's most dangerous military organization and not even allowed to retreat or do anything intelligent, guys trying to surrender are being shot in the back by the banderas and all of that sit is being directed by nato/pentagon orders.

IF, the Ukraine keeps to its demands of Russian withdrawing out of all regions they now control..there will be no settlement.

There is still enough left for a general killing.

BTW did you know that Grant and Lees movements are taught in the military schools in Germany and Austria? The Franco Prussian war where Prussia beat the French was a direct result of the Prussians being in the USA and watching the tactics of our civil war generals. Especially logistics.
I swear, if we had the will, we could have gone over to Europe and taken the whole dang place over with the military and commanders we had back then.
