You are probably right.

Lots of bars along on Fourth and on Broadway from Downtown to about Redondo. My favorite was Karl's Little Bavaria, which was in walking distance from my apartment.

Things have changed a lot as there use to be maybe 2-4 gay or lesbian bars, now I think they are all gay, including Karl's

This is the song that Kris, then an unknown busboy trying to make it in Nashville, had an army buddy give him a helicopter ride to Johnny Cash's house. Upon arrival, June came out to see what was going on, Kris stepped out, handed her the sheet music and said:
