It looks to be headed right where I live on the Florida west coast.
We’ve been getting rain where I live.
To: Brian Griffin
Rain is good. Flooding rain, not so much. Stay safe and stay dry.

I soak my plants about a week before the cutoff date.
Next day I apply fertilizer.
Then for the next few days I water the plants lightly so they get to absorb much of the fertilizer.
I only use a modest amount of fertilizer since getting lots of rain after fertilizing in late May has been my experience.
I grow my roses in pots within a pot without drainage. I can then fertilize them without fertilizer getting into the groundwater.

The NHC currently predicts rain will be heavier in southern Florida than in my area south of Sarasota.

Glad you have checked in with your local update. Alex-in-waiting is strengthening. Once it moves away from the Yucatan Peninsula...lots o’ rain with this slow moving storm.

Morning!
We're only expecting 2-4" rain and gusts to 35 mph. That is typical FL afternoon t-storm weather. We can use the rain. Ft. Myers and further south looks to get substantially more precipitation.
