Whoa there pardner.
I went to public school. You probably did too. It was the norm to prop open doors on a hot day. No A/C, or A/C shut off to save money. Probably same here, in a tiny little one-horse town. So yes, the policy that no-one followed was violated. And also yes, if the door wasn’t propped open the kids inside would’ve been sweltering and bitching.
That being said, the principal, deans, and counselors all should’ve been running around campus ensuring it was secured the second after that first shot rang out - they had at least 10-12 minutes to do so. They didn’t. That’s where the adults failed the kids.
Tell me again why a teacher needs a lawyer?
———————————————————————
If you were accused of aiding and abetting a mass murderer, wouldn’t you engage a lawyer also?
“is consciously, or unconsciously, creating the belief in her own head that she closed it…”
Exactly my thought when I read her saying “ I remember closing…’ when you’ve positively done something you say so. When your lying you say “I remember”
For the life of me I don’t see two guys on the left side of the screen. Anybody else see - or not see - them?
“If a lawyer says it, it must be somehow technically true.”
They go to law school to learn how to lie...
I only see two guys later as it zooms out and it is not to the left
You can’t see the door but the shooter walked in easily. As to the two guys at the 11 and 12 second mark I took a screenshot and enhanced it with editing software (Gimp). The object between the two people certainly looks like a rifle with a magazine. When enhanced a sling becomes visible.
If it were something else what could it be?
There are the typical self locking doors at our church. Let me explain how they work. I need a key to open the door from the outside. When the door shuts it auto locks, but from the inside, there is a bar you can push that will open the door. You can either prop the door open with something, or you can use the little Allen-wrench-looking device that is on a hook up at the top of the door on the inside, insert it in hole in the bar and turn. That will disable the auto lock.
So to be fair to the teacher….. what if she knew that the doors were never left unlocked, she might not have even known about the little device, so she used the rock to prop door open, then ran back inside, kicked the rock away, and assumed the doors locked when they closed. From the inside she would not be able to test the door to see if it locked . So someone else could have used the device earlier and disabled the auto lock.
They are on the right, not the left. At the beginning of the video and again at 11 and 12 seconds.
They had exactly 5 minutes. Truck crash at 11:28, followed by shots at the funeral home people. Teacher runs back inside and may or may not have gotten door closed properly. Her 911 call was 11:30, shooter enters by same door at 11:33.
The handlers making sure the perp gets in the back door.
Wasn’t there another guy in OK City? The “Iraqi” that was involved?
Didn’t the feds know about that attack in advance?
Source ABC News
The Uvalde Police Department and the Uvalde Independent School District police force are no longer cooperating with the Texas Department of Public Safety’s investigation into the massacre at Robb Elementary School and the state’s review of the law enforcement response, multiple law enforcement sources tell ABC News.
If they did have a rifle they could have easily hit the shooter from 20 meters...he already shot at people going to the funeral home.
“You can’t see the door but the shooter walked in easily.”
Yes, I agree, it is just impossible to tell whether he walked through a propped open door, or opened an unlocked door from that video. Texas DPS said there was security footage from the school of the door, and that it was propped open. Since this is info from days after the shooting, I assume it is accurate.
The dog ate that days lesson, too.
Bingo. Also possible that a door like that does not have a strong enough closing mechanism to close fully if it was only propped open a little bit and could not build up enough momentum to close fully. She didn't pull it shut, so it didn't close. But that is still on her. I don't buy for a second that the door malfunctioned.
Seems to me like somebody’s muddying the waters so nobody knows what went on.
Thank you for your explanation.. Doors with an interior push bar are supposed to lock when pushed shut. She would have no way of testing the door to see if it was locked after she moved the rock unless she tested it from the outside.
Unless it didn’t close all the way and latch. Or it was broken.
The shooter may have gone to that specific door because he saw the teacher run inside that door.
Is it my imagination, or does it look like a plume of smoke is coming from that stuff around the back door?
Pause it right on the 1 second mark and look!
You can see it right when the video starts,
Vape smoke?
Cigg smoke?
A janitors master key.
“She thought the door would lock because that door is always supposed to be locked.”
So she’s blaming the door lock now?
