STATE WATCH These three Democrat-led states are pushing ahead on gun control BY MONIQUE BEALS - 05/29/22 5:57 PM ET SHARE TWEET ... MORE

Democratic Govs. Gavin Newsom (Calif.), Kathy Hochul (N.Y) and Phil Murphy (N.J.). AP photos/Eric Risberg-Mary Altaffer-Wayne Parry Three Democratic-led states — California, New York and New Jersey — have pressed forward with gun reform legislation in the wake of the deadly shooting in Uvalde, Texas that left 19 children and two adults dead.

The state action comes as Democrats in Congress eye votes on measures including a federal red-flag law and expanded background checks, however doubts remain over possible Republican cooperation.

In California, Gov. Gavin Newsom (D) announced on Wednesday, just one day after the Texas shooting, that the state would “expedite commonsense gun safety laws that will protect people from gun violence.”

it will just cost them in the midterms.

Creepy Joe’s numbers have fallen to new all time lows this week as the liberals try to use the deaths of little kids to advance their agenda.

Expanding on “Gun control”, an entirely different kind of “gun control”.

Rather than trying to isolate the possession of firearms, by making access either difficult or prohibited altogether, seize the opportunity and get EVERY youth in America introduced to the practical aspect of firearms and other projectile weapons. This should be introduced as a course of study at the high school level, or even before, first of all demystifying guns of their “powers”, and stripping away the “magic” influence they have over the minds of many people.

Instruction in the care, feeding, grooming and PROPER use of firearms should be taught as a safety program, much like drivers’ education or well, frankly, sex education, but without the propaganda that goes along with it (sex is NEVER safe).

Firearms, like wrongfully used sex practices, have potential to cause considerable harm, both immediately and with far-reaching consequences. This training would serve to weed out the careless, by identifying them very early in the training course, and also may indicate the unstable or those with very bad attitudes rather more quickly than when they walk into a crowded space with loaded weapons and begin to blaze away against unarmed people.

And for the sake of the dear Lord, do away with “gun-free” zones. Anywhere. Everywhere. A very bad idea that DOES NOT WORK.

Murder is illegal in just about any jurisdiction I can think of. Yet it occurs anyway. Take away the opportunity, deny the unrestrained exercise of that act of will, and you may not prevent ALL the murders, but you can certainly keep the genie at bay.

I say, arm the school teachers. A deadly woman is a pretty weapon.

You have everyone, including the so called “people’s representative’s”, stomping around, wiping their arse on one of most important foundation papers of one of the greatest countries ever founded and the solutions? .. More trashing and ignoring already established law!

The Bill of Right’s is cemented by the blood of millions of our patriots and I for one am not willing to ignore it .. No matter how many are murdered simply because society refuses to do the hard things!

Instead we choose to turn a blind eye on the difficult solutions and prefer to take the easier path ... the path that will ultimately lead to a complete dictatorship!

Without our Constitution and our Forcing the politicians to adhere to it .. We are no better than Venezuela or Cuba!

If need be, bring back public executions, hangings, firing squads, whatever.

Stop with the coddling of criminals!
We can start with prosecuting the “ broken windows” type laws that Rudy Giuliani proved to be so effective while mayor of new York!

We no longer allow the death penalty of minors regardless of how many people they murder!
(They can’t receive life sentences without parole either!)

The entire country has practically done away with the death penalty and those who are sitting on death row .. Die of old age before meeting their court ordered sentence!

Biden looking to pass more restrictions on police the other day.
Hell, look at the states, some members of Congress .. and society in general wanting to do away with the police and ICE altogether!
(Some may notice the federal agencies are never mentioned for disbanding?)

We, the people are to blame for the crime culture today, not the guns!

I refuse to ignore our Constitution and follow the swine that want to eliminate it from our country and our memories!

That my friends would be relaying the message that “millions of our countrymen have died in vain! “

Again, pay particular attention to part 2 and the underlined below.
(For at least the 1,000th time, the “Rulers” are attempting to ignore clearly, that which is written!)

U.S. Supreme Court

United States v. Cruikshank, 92 U.S. 542 (1875)

PART 1

The right to bear arms is not granted by the Constitution; neither is it in any manner dependent upon that instrument for its existence.

PART 2

The Second Amendment means no more than that it “shall not be infringed” by Congress, and has no other effect than to restrict the powers of the National Government.

It's time to tell these gun control advocates that if they get their "gun control" dream, that the next School shooting is on them,
because they refuse to secure Schools in their lust to beat the N.R.A. .

Harden the schools. Make the buildings a single-entry area, with something called a “man-trap”. A man-trap consists of a set of two interlocking doors that cannot be open simultaneously. Enter first door, and the first door has to close before the second door can be opened. Keep this vestibule area under constant video surveillance, and put the entry and passage doors under the control of an operator. The outer door may open, but the passage door cannot.

The operator can be the school resource officer, preferably trained in use of and carrying weapons of some kind. This alone will provide a precious few minutes of stalling the prospective attacker, and may spell the difference between a massacre and a capture, until the authorities arrive.

I looked at the Everytown for Gun Safety state rankings, and it (predictably) is a laughable farce. They will rank Illinois as as a “National Leader”, but have New Hampshire as a “National Failure”, even though only 12 homicides happened in that state in 2020 (according to Wikipedia) for a homicide rate of 0.9 persons per 100,000.

I think the idea is to make gun owners into criminals. Not because it will reduce gun violence, that’s all for the stupid people’s show, but because the government wants an excuse to target their political opponents.

An armed society is the biggest obstacle to a dictatorship and prior to the implementation of such a dictatorship is the first step to find ways and means to disarm the public. This process has been implemented time and time again. In US this may be somewhat difficult, as the general public is well armed and most people would find ways and means to keep and conceal their firearms. The only way for such a law to succeed would be to find ways to turn the public sentiment against firearms, in other words ways would have to be found to rile up the public enough to demand restriction of guns or abolish the second amendment altogether.

What better way to do it than to find ways and means to either instigate or promote mass shootings, most likely done and promoted in untraceable roundabout ways. I do believe that there are enough on the left including many so called RINOS who are not adverse to such steps and would do whatever it takes to remove guns from the general population as the initial step towards a total dictatorship.

For this reason it should not come as a surprise if we would see some more, quite possible and sad to say manufactured mass shootings in the future.

Their metric isn’t safety, it’s disarmament. New Hampshire’s low crime rates are irrelevant to gun control/victim disarmament groups.

So in California, Newsom committed to signing a package of bills, including restrictions on the sale of firearms to minors (Which the 9th Circus Court just said was unconstitutional) and so-called ghost guns, or unlicensed kits to build untraceable firearms.

The package of bills would also create “private right of action to limit spread of illegal assault weapons and ghost guns” ((What the HELL does this mean?) in addition to enabling gun violence victims and governments to sue manufacturers and sellers of firearms.

Meanwhile, New York Gov. Kathy Hochul (D) has pressed for state legislators to raise the minimum age to purchase an AR-15-style rifle to 21, from the current limit of 18.

“I don’t want 18-year-olds to have guns,” Hochul said at a meeting of the Interstate Task Force on Illegal Guns (what the HELL is this about?), which includes law enforcement representatives from nine states.

“I want to work with the legislature to do something that is far more common sense than we have right now. At minimum, the AR-15s, but I’m going to take a look at everything,” she added.

I'm sure that is the idea the DemonRat left wants to implement.

Here is a post that shows how badly their efforts have failed.
