In a segment Saturday on Tiffany Cross's MSNBC show focused on the Uvalde school shooting, guest Jasmine Crockett—a member of the Texas House of Representatives and candidate for the U.S. House of Representatives—said that in her notion of gun reform, "there is no need for an AR-15, period."
Cross concurred on the sermon, telling Crockett that she was "preaching to the choir."
Frequent guest Brittany Packnett Cunningham spelled out the gun-grabbing plan in explicit terms:
"Pull AR-15s and other similar assault weapons off of the streets . . . We need to remove the tools of violence. That is about removing assault weapons, at the very least."
Okay then! Grabbing "assault weapons" is "the very least" the government should do! Can I keep my cap gun?
But even disarming law-abiding Americans would not be enough for Cunningham. She also advocated "disarming police." And in a flight of true insanity, she said that America needs to "abolish policing as we know it." She also spoke of straight-up "abolition."

Guns were already banned, and, at least effective policing was already abolished at the time, at that school in Texas. Look at the result.
When the government becomes the enemy of the people then there is a great need for an AR-15 and other firearms. That’s what the 2nd amendment is all about. Not duck hunting.

We’d be better off banning alphabet media entities if we were genuinely interested in making America a better place. I’m doing my part. I cannot remember the last time I watched an ABCCBSNBCCNNMSNBCFOX National news report or one of the Sunday shows.
I would have no idea who these loser chicks are except conservative content producers give them wide distribution for some odd reason. We know what the left thinks, why make them famous for it? Makes no sense, IMHO.
Democrat politicians are choosing issues that drive their voters away. This is just another one. Combine this with crime, abortion, the economy, and the border invasion it would make sense that some Democrats will stay home in November or vote for Republicans.
Go ahead and try to disarm the public. King George tried this in 1776 and got his ass kicked. There are approximately 150 m gun owners in the USA and it’s growing everyday. Now that schools and police again have displayed their incompetence, all we have left is our self’s and a small group of friends.
If I ever meet somebody who’s avoiding the law for a good reason I would tell them to get on MSNBC. Nobody would ever find them.
For all the good the Uvalde Police did in this matter then that may not be a bad suggestion. Get rid of much of the current force and rebuild it.
Yes pull the most sought after rifle in the country off the market. Ban the rifle that almost every gun owner owns. Try to collect 10s of millions of ARs. Not happening.
A better course of action is a war to destroy the Domestic Enemy called COMCAST.

Saying ‘ban assault weapons’ is as useful as saying ‘ban Buicks’. You can prevent future manufacturing but what do you do about the tens of thousands already existing?
