Uvalde Police Chief Peter Arredondo faces claims he didn't even have his police radio on him when school massacre began as Texas Rangers probe why he told cops to stand back as kids were slaughtered

As the heat piles on Uvalde Schools Police Chief Pete Arredondo, he's now being investigated for possibly not having a police radio on him when he told his officers to stand back as Salvador Ramos slaughtered 19 children and two adults.

Arredondo, a former 911 dispatcher who'd been elected to Uvalde's city council just days earlier, may have used that as an excuse for why he held his officers back despite the 911 calls from students inside the school desperate for assistance.

'That's going to be key,' a source told the New York Post. 'If those 911 calls were being communicated to the officers or the incident commander.'

It's a small town in Texas, one would think that the police chief would know about the nut case in their mist.

Chief Wiggum from "The Simpson's" comes to mind.

Between blm riots, prosecuting people that defend themselves, these instances and the scamdemic, these ‘police officers’ really have a love to crap on the average taxpayer and loathe them. Nothin beats beating people that are afraid to fight back and those that lean toward obeying authority. Lets you feel powerful without all the risk.

If he was formerly a 911 dispatcher, was a new inexperienced one there that day?

After reviewing the lack of actions of the police, the ones charged and given the tools to protect the public, I notice that an individual borrowed a gun and drive 40 miles to solve the problem. Think of a country where only Cops and Crooks have guns..... think Chicago.... think NYC. Oh and the criminally insane don’t need a gun, a knife or brick will work against the disarmed citizens. Or even just push the commuter into the path of the subway....... should we ban subways?

the agents had been puzzled as to why they were being told not to enter the school and engage the gunman

The Uvalde police did far worse than nothing. They actively prevented parents, an off-duty officer, and border patrol agents from intervening with the gunman. If I'm a police chief working in collaboration with a school killer, this is exactly how I would do it.

>> There’s a money trail.

And compliant “men” awaiting further instructions.

“Enough is enough” with public police unions.

https://nypost.com/2022/05/28/uvalde-school-police-chief-pete-arredondo-is-a-coward-neighbor/

Local cops have kept guard outside Arredondo’s house around the clock.

“I do not understand why the police from Uvalde, Texas, are guarding Pete Arredondo’s home,” Torres said. “He is hiding in his home, requesting the PD patrol the area and guard his home day and night. He should come out and speak up.”

Kind of ironic that the the guy whose primary job was to protect kids, has himself police protection.

Read Warren v. District of Columbia the USSC held that police have no obligation to protect you or your property. You are on your own never give up the means to defend yourself the cops won’t.
