Shocking new video has emerged showing Texas cops restraining parents as they tried to rescue their kids on Tuesday after a gunman unleashed terror inside the elementary school, as questions grow over why it took so long to get to the shooter after the first 911 call.
Salvador Ramos, 18, arrived at the school in Uvalde at 11.30am, crashing his car into a ditch.
A school resource officer was at the scene but he failed to stop him from making his way inside.
Two other cops also rushed to the school at that time - Ramos had just shot his grandmother in the face at their home less than five miles away. She survived and called the police.
When they arrived, Ramos is said to have shot at them then ran into the school, where he barricaded himself in the fourth grade classroom and shot 19 kids and two teachers dead.
It took another 90 minutes from that point for police to declare the shooting over.
Now, sources say police were struggling to get into the classroom and needed a key to open the door.
Eventually, a border patrol agent was able to get inside and the shooting was declared over at 1.06pm.
But it questions remain over why it took police so long to get into the classroom where the kids were trapped with the gunman.
One child told KENS 5 that he was able to hide under a desk, but that a girl who yelled out 'help' when police arrived was executed.

Guess he stumbled on an unlocked or open door and maybe he locked/closed it behind him.
“ So you think that mother should have been allowed to go inside? Really?”
I’d have gone in. I’d rather not live than live with the thoughts of what my kid went through dead or alive.
Under what circumstances can you say 150 armed police, some to most having good protection and all with decent weapons, are justified in not engaging a shooter over apparently something that went on up to 90 minutes? If the city mayor or police chief said no police can engage the shooter because they want a high civilian death rate, would that make you happy? There is no other plausible reason for people, meant to engage, to not engage.
These same people gladly pull a speeder off to the side of the road, but that earns the city cash income from a ticket, and it doesn’t help depopulate an overcrowded Earth.
From what I have read, Ramos just had his 18th birthday.
In the short time after turning 16 Ramos is able to buy 2 rifles, 1 pistol, and hundreds of rounds of ammunition. And Ramos may have spent $4000 for the guns and ammo.
My question is:
Where does an 18 year old kid get $4000 to make these purchases?
That would be their choice and they quite possibly could have saved lives. But, you acknowledgment that when the parents were being restrained, there was an active shooter inside and the police stood outside and didn’t restrain the shooter.
Right, did they check all the doors in an attempt to get in, like the shooter apparently did, and with success??

Thanks for blowing up that photo.
Very revealing.
Care to cite your proof of this claim?
.....and Pulse....and Vegas....
But I’m a first responder. War vet. I come from a long line of New York Irish cops and fdny. You read accounts of 9/11 and you see people running toward the situation
Same.
I wonder what, if any, federal regulations law enforcement has to follow is cases like these
surely they have official procedures , some perhaps put in place to prevent lawsuits???? DO A, then, B, Then C etc
of course 100 years ago both Police and citizens, perhaps armed, would have just rushed the place
Thanks for your support.
Some people here make it sound, as if police are in favor of people getting massacred in a mass shooter situation. They make it sound as if police are not trained or not allowed to take action. I just can’t understand such thinking.

I thought I read that he was employed at Wendys and saved it up
If the Fed’s are involved it is no wonder it took so long.
Now, we really don’t know who was first to arrive and how they reacted. Valverde is not that small a place.
Heroes.
Shades of Parkland
Drove by the local Wendy’s and the sign out front is “$18/hr, all shifts.”
Those are some very pertinent, and disturbing, questions you’ve asked there.
What is happening to our beloved country?! So many things appear dreadfully wrong. It very much seems like a demonic plan is in the works, and has been for some time.
