— Frustrated onlookers urged police officers to charge into the Texas elementary school where a gunman’s rampage killed 19 children and two teachers, witnesses said Wednesday, as investigators worked to track the massacre that lasted upwards of 40 minutes and ended when the 18-year-old shooter was killed by a Border Patrol team.
“Go in there! Go in there!” nearby women shouted at the officers soon after the attack began, said Juan Carranza, 24, who saw the scene from outside his house, across the street from Robb Elementary School in the close-knit town of Uvalde. Carranza said the officers did not go in.

Department of Public Safety Director Steve McCraw said 40 minutes to an hour elapsed from when Ramos opened fire on the school security officer and when the SWAT-like Border Patrol team shot him. But a department spokesman said later in the day that they could not give a solid estimate of how long the gunman was in the school or when he was killed.

So was he part of the tactical team or was he some off duty agent who responded lone wolf and ran in alone to take out the shooter.
Too bad you believe otherwise. Until there are the facts you blame the shooter not the police officers.
he public really gets to me as on one hand when they’re in a live situation they want officers to charge forward immediately - until the officers actually shoot someone in an incident they aren’t in. Then it’s always judgement against the officers.
Daily review has a photo of two of them in gear which one actually went in I haven’t sen a specific photo.
Early on I think it was said because of the AR 15’s he was using and the police had just rifles they were told to wait for the back up special unit who are specifically armed and trained for this type of siutation.
Law enforcement officers arriving on the scene could hear gunshots inside the classroom, Olivarez said. Officers tried to enter the school, but the shooter fired on them, hitting some of the officers, Olivarez said. At that point, police officers “began breaking windows around the school” in an attempt to evacuate children, teachers and staff, he said.
Officers were eventually able to force their way into the classroom and kill the shooter, who wore a tactical vest, Olivarez said.
A U.S. Border Patrol agent killed Ramos

Ok. Sounds like was part of the op, not a lone wolf.
If some ass hole is going into a building to kill people...I'm going in to stop him.,,if I can.
Yeah, almost as bad as people who actually believe the Associated Press is reporting factually.
Ummm..an AR-15 is just a rifle.
They can sleep soundly knowing little boys and girls are dead because they followed procedures.
Get some Israeli commandos..They would have charged in and saved the kids.....
There's been a lot of false reports - reporters can't even get which vehicle he drove right -car or truck....let alone how this all unfolded. So it misleads people into thinking what they should not until there's an investigation.
If you watch the video of him entering the school , that's not been slowed down, clearly he “ran” into the school and was on the run. But if you go by the slow downed version it looks like he just walked in. So people get the wrong impressions all the time.
Same old story! Time after time after time...
LEOs are not about protecting anyone except themselves...
The stinking cowards should be charges for 2nd degree murder...
Happens every single time...
40-minutes of mental masturbation certainly cost many lives...
Question how quick would you take down a kid with a gun?
You think the cops carry bolt action rifles in their vehicles???
Lever action 30-30’s???
It also didn’t look like he was in a fire fight when he ran into the building. At least in that video
It's a real good idea to wait for the investigation. Generally speaking police officers are not going to shoot a kid without warning. In this case all the shots he got off using an Ar 15 in seconds doesn't allow wiggle room....tough call for any officer leading this charge...on backup etc. But they do have a responsibility for protecting their officers as well. Even is war our soldiers have to follow procedures and work as a team 'under fore'.
I just can’t imagine sitting listening to fire inside an elementary school and not going in...for 40 minutes.
So many lies. We heard that a brave border patrol agent ran in without backup and took the shooter out. Wrong.
Apparently a border patrol tactical team assembled and went in with tactical gear including shields. Still brave but not the story told before. Now it appears this was 30 - 40 minutes after the shooting started.
