Texas gunman left home after fight with mom about Wi-Fi
Still no word on where he got all those guns and magazines from. I know he purchased one gun recently on his birthday, but what about the others? Did he frequent a gun range?
His grandfather didn’t even think he could drive.
Broken family. Applies to almost every school shooter.
Lets see....
non-existent father - check
mom’s a drug addict - check
mom’s got a live-in boyfriend - check
only social interaction is through social media - check
no supervision - check
dumped on grandmother to raise - check
Even if he didn’t shoot up a school, the chance he was going to wind up in prison was close to 100%
Mom was a drug addict. No father in the home ( new boyfriend doesn’t count)
Result are predictable
bttt
live in boyfriend, mother addicted to drugs, kid with obvious mental illness - yep, everyone saw something and nobody said anything.
Ramos didn’t want internet access?
I'm sure he was a supportive adult figure for him.
The phrase “mother’s boyfriend” was not something one heard before the 1990s.
What was the fight with the grandmother about?
Where is his social media?
Let kids drop out of school when they are 16.
Prison or President.
What will it take to get teens like this into residential mental health care? They’re very volatile and adolescent onset mental problems are particularly dangerous.
All of these “kids” have given signs- sometimes unnoticed by their parents in dysfunctional homes, and sometimes aided by co-dependent in-denial parents in apparently functional homes. The Buffalo shooter’s parents bought him his first major weapon when he was 16, even though he was already acting nuts.
Ramos had had police intervention and was considered nutty and avoided by most of his fellow students. So where was the school on this?
I remember when Gov . Reagan closed the leading adolescent mental health care facility in CA because he said it cost too much. It cost nothing compared to the damage done by people who might have been committed l there, couldn’t be, and went on to become killers or to kill themselves . We have to bring back residential mental health care for teens (with all the reviews and safeguards to insure that it is not politically or personally motivated).
This tells me someone gave him the money for the weapons and body armor. He was assisted but by whom?
Sounds like a real healthy environment. /S
I read, elsewhere, that mom is a drug addict. BF looks like he could be, too.
Where’s dad?
🤔
Children are best raised with two fully involved parents - a mother and a father. Not “two mommies” or “two daddies” or any of that nonsense. Especially not a single mother with “live-in” boyfriends.
