May be an illegal from San Salvador.
Early rumor said illegal from San Salvador. May have been confusion based upon his name.

Weird how the numbers are playing out now... Listening the scanner earlier... The perp was “in custody”... Now he’s dead?
No mention of additional casualties on the scanner traffic, but now news sources are coming up with anything from 2 to 16 dead.
Watching it play out in real time, you expect things to change as more details become known... but this seems a bit surreal.
He’ll be a White Hispanic before you know it.
Don’t you know that facts are always changing based on the first reports?
I expect them to change. Just not that drastically.

I'm reading Salvador Ramos, and he was wanted for murder. There was a BOLO alert for him.
Fury: I have seen no reports on that yet. There is a cellphone video that supposedly shows him entering the school through what appears to be a side door(?). If real, it looks like he just went right in.
Drew68: There is a typo in the story I copy-pasted. All other sites spell it Ramos, which I think is correct.
He probably found out that he would not graduate this year.

There was an armed security guard at the supermarket in Buffalo. He actually exchanged fire with the shooter and was killed. So 'good guy with a gun' doesn't automatically solve anything.
