Out of touch as ever, President Biden celebrated record-high gas prices Monday, gushing that the pump pain was part of “an incredible transition” of the US economy away from fossil fuels.

What else could he be referring to other than what you are alluding to?

We are left to argue over the percentage size of the seemingly intended cull.

Excuse my rant but it is more than obvious the Trojan Horse of America’s destruction is within our gates! This is a war and must be treated as if every American’s life and our future depends on it, which it does. It’s going to take a whole lot of ugly to once again right this ship called the USA.

This is nothing but a reformulation of “you have to break a few eggs to make an omelet”. Nobody has ever seen this fictional omelet but it’s pretty clear it’s intended to be eaten by somebody else.

No, the majority of Americans did not vote for this. Unfortunately, some of them voted for the people currently bringing the pain.

“When you can’t trust the federal government, who can you trust?”

__________

Reagan, were he alive to reply to this question would attack your base premise.

The federal government is, and always was, a necessary evil, never to be trusted as one human being might seek to trust another. The more inclined you are blindly to trust the federal government, the more your relationships with people around you, and/or ostensibly close to you, will fray and break down. People who see that you would rather hew to the narrative laid down by FedGov gaslighters than invest in human relationships with them will become disheartened and demoralized, and inevitably leave you to your chosen fantasy.

...we’ll be stronger and the world will be stronger and less reliant on fossil fuels when this is over...”

vs.

the incredible damage to the US economy in the near-term and mid-term.

We’ll see if Republicans can make hay with Biden’s statement.
