Actually, the shelves are going to be full soon here shortly.
All the goods that were waiting on ships earlier this year are finally hitting shelves in the next few weeks.
After that, ...? There is very little in the pipeline. This is going to hit very abruptly for many people.
Yesterday I went to order more cat food, dry cat food. It is out of stock. Went to order for a client who has fallen and broken her hip. Her cat’s food, dry cat food was out of stock. In fact, it is out of stock everywhere at this time.
I had to stop at a tractor supply store for a few other items. Simple hand-crank plumbing auger...out of stock and no timeline for arrival. Flipside, they had both dry cat foods.
Reports I have heard now, this is the third time I heard the 10-week timeline. Reality is it will start to become even more evident much sooner.
SHTF is coming.
Then it’s coming.

Oh please. I specifically discounted the specific claims of the article. 10 weeks is about the time the transition from last years food supply to this years becomes prominent. That’s where that time-frame comes from.
If there is famine, most likely we will be outbidding the rest of the world for any excess. That said, there’s a lot less planting this year than last.
It's going to be a brutal winter this year with the increased cost of natural gas, gasoline/diesel, and electric utilities.
As I understand it, the fuels from the National Strategic Oil Reserve are being sent to Europe to help them cope from the Russian fuel termination;
not being used here in the USA, domestically.
Same with the infant formula supply that was hoarded up by the Fed.
Illegals have more privileges and rights than do the native citizenry.

If you’re growing heirloom/open-pollinated vegetables, you can produce your own seeds for next year.
If you’re not growing that type of veggies, go buy some now and stick them in your freezer for next year.

Well thank you. But just so we are clear, the “nuke them” was hyperbole for sinking their ships.. as in “nuke their ships”. Not nuke their nation literally. We will save nuking their nation (literally) for when they nuke us (literally).
Fall-planted grain in the northern hemisphere will be harvested before those 10 weeks are up. That should extend the deadline, although it’s hard to tell by how much. A lot of things have been happening in grain-producing areas that will decrease the amount harvested.
The grain I planted last fall hasn’t started forming heads yet.
