The Lincoln Memorial in Washington, D.C., was shut down Saturday morning after a crowd of seniors from Georgetown University left broken bottles and spilled wine on the monument's steps.
Hundreds of students had gathered to watch the sunrise Saturday after the senior ball on Friday. A few took a dip in the Reflecting Pool.
The National Park Service announced a brief delay in accessibility to the Lincoln Memorial, saying the group had left debris in the area

Yes. The photos showed a large crowd of mostly privileged, mostly white young folks who obviously had no idea where they were and what they were doing - because they simply didn’t care. They’ve probably been taught for years that Lincoln was just another dead white man…and on top of that, they know NOTHING about the history of our country.

They are today’s litterbugs, and tomorrow’s crybabies wanting their student loans canceled.
This is exactly why no student loans should be canceled.
