*HUG*
Good to see you, too!
There’s been lots going on.
I am so sorry I haven’t been
here.
Been having severe back issues.
Losing Sue (the cottage lady)
and my Mother-in law the same
week back in August was terrible.
The good news is, I am officially retired!
WOO HOO!!!
We have missed you so much, Sis! I’m sorry about your back trouble and hope you’ve found a relief. Also, I think being retired...WOOHOO!!...will help it heal.
I am so sorry for your losses. I guess that means no more visits to that wonderful cottage? I will always remember our wonderful times there.
Courtesy of being a captive audience, while in high school.
Once on my own, there was no TV in my place, but a very good Harmon Kardon component stereo set, a huge collection of vinyl albums, and LOTS of books & magazines, so don't quiz me on 70s & 80s TV shows! LOL.
It helps that I keep it in the shade under the patio table. Also, the low humidity causes evaporation which cools it. I have to check during the day to make sure they still have plenty.
It’s sooo frustrating to see rain all around and it never reaches your area. We’ve both been through that so much!
I missed Rawhide and put Wagon Train - all them Westerns look the same to me!
oh well 9 outta 10 aint bad
YOU AND MY WIFE ARE PEAS IN A POD!!! LOL! British series? I wasn’t permitted to even whisper, “DEAR, THE HOUSE IS ON FIRE”, when “Downton Abbey was on!” IT WAS LIKE SHE KNEW THESE PEOPLE! You, too?
THIS IS WHY MEN AND WOMEN REALLY SHOULDN’T LIVE TOGETHER.
WE DON’T EVEN SPEAK THE SAME LANGUAGE, LOL!
Howdy, MS.B!! *HUGZ*
Long time, no see and it’s great to see you tonight!
You have my sympathies for those back issues. Mine aren’t severe and they’re bad enough. I hope there’s something you can do to help alleviate the pain, though the idea of back surgery is a scary thought.
I’m so sorry to hear about the loss of your mother-in-law and Sue last year. Losing them so close together must have been devastating.
Finally retired?? WOOHOO!! Welcome to the club! LOL Feels good, doesn’t it?
Great job! I agree about westerns, and I think that’s the one I missed. LOL!
I really loved that show! But there are many more British shows I watch. They have the best murder mystery shows. They don’t get all over the top dramatic like American crime shows do. There is more “mystery” to them. LOL!
I guess if I do those shows, you can watch and read the results. LOL!
You did great on the ‘60s!
The low humidity must be the key. I kept our cats’ water dish in the shade, too, but it still got warm. That’s why I put ice cubes in it periodically.
It’s very frustrating to see rain somewhat close by and we get none. Especially now when we have crops. We had rain all spring and now we can’t seem to get a drop. *sigh*
I got ten out of ten
What didn’t you recognize?
Fingers crossed that you get rain soon. Our advantage...if there is one....is that no one is stupid enough to try to grow crops, even with irrigation, here in my county. LOL
I am not sure, but I think I mixed up the westerns. You did good!
enjoy.
you deserve it
Might get it this weekend. Just have to wait and see.
Yeah, if anyone tried to grow anything there, it would probably be cotton. LOL
9 out of 10. Never did watch Petticoat Junction. I do not even know what it was about.
They asked about shows I remembered
Almost missed it.
