On Monday, retired four-star general and MSNBC "military analyst" Barry R. McCaffrey posted a clip of video game footage to Twitter. Alongside it he claimed it was a display of strength from Ukraine's air defense. It's actually footage from a video game.
Next thing you know, they’ll show a prisoner that’s actually a 12 inch tall action figure.
This is what a 4-star general is nowadays.
He’s a Never Trump POS.
It’s like posting a Calvin and Hobbs cartoon that “proves” tigers can talk.
.
He didn’t say it on the air. He just posted it on his Twitter. Poor eyesight and using a small screen would explain that.
I tried to cut him slack on the “video” footage, ala the “producer did it” explanation, but either way he still works for an enemy of the Republic.
I follow him on Twitter and he has criticized Biden’s ineptitude very harshly. Isn’t MSNBC-s line, but he just doesn’t seem to care.
Got to get something for that 40 billion (40,000,000,000,000) dollars.
40 billion is 140,000 American working the average wage per hour for the entire year to pay for this. Meanwhile certain groups want to bitch about slavery 200+ years ago. This 40 billion requires about 125 thousand people to work full time for the US government for a year to pay for Ukraine’s goodie’s bag of slush funds. WAKE UP!
During my Dept Head tour on an AEGIS Cruiser I saw five Executive Officers. The most liberal one was the only one that went on to Command and eventually four stars. We used to have some heated discussions about the 2nd Amendment.
Not surprising that he believed only LE and military should possess firearms. He was quite the DC snake.
A great deal of “Ukraine war footage” is from gaming.
Two things to look for:
1) The camera jerks from scene to scene. 2) Rising smoke from burning targets always looks like similar plumes.
“ Next thing you know, they’ll show a prisoner that’s actually a 12 inch tall action figure.”
With kung fu grip?! 🤪
Ghost of Kiev is in the same light.
Be careful. Putin haven’t punched his weight yet. He’s hoping that Ukraine launches an offensive (and baiting them into doing so) so that he can destroy them in place. Kornets and Iglas are as effective as Javelins and Stingers, and Putin has his own supply of Turkish drones. And Putin has air superiority.
No excuse. Large screens are cheap and so is vision correction.
Depends how much effort one puts into his Twitter account. I enjoy following him. I don’t consider him a source for video analysis. Much better accounts for that. Just want to read what a general thinks about the big picture.
Then he needs to stop billing himself as a military analyst.
