It is quite amazing how little is understood about the eastern front in WWII by folks in the west.
It is important for all to remember, the eastern front, taken out of WWII and stood alone, is the largest conflict in human history. The only thing I can think of, to get our fellow countrymen to understand, is to think the brutality of the pacific with a 1000+ mile front.
Here in America, the eastern front was german invasion, then Stalingrad, then Berlin. Easy peasy…..of course a quick study opens ones eyes very quickly. Most simply do not understand.
