Zelensky Suspends Democracy-Goes Full-Blown Nationalist Over Victor Medvechuk

If an election were held in Ukraine today, Victor Medvechuk would stomp Volodymyr Zelensky by a larger margin than the 70%+ Zelensky beat Poroshenko by.

Until Victor Medvechuk became a political rival, he and Zelensky were friends. Medvechuk gave Zelensky’s career in show business a start early on.

His great crime is believing Ukraine should remain neutral and concentrate on its own development. For this, Zelensky offered Russia a prisoner exchange or Medvechuk. This is unparalleled in history. A president of a country offering his political rival to a foreign country so he doesn’t have to face him in an election?

Victor Medvechuk’s political program called for an end to the conflict in Donbass which Zelensky was mandated to do by 70%+ of Ukrainian voters when he was elected. Instead, Zelensky went out of his way to spark a war with Russia. Zelensky even lied to his Minsk guarantor Germany about being committed to fulfilling the Minsk agreement steps.

Medvechuk would have avoided a meltdown of the Ukrainian economy which began before the war started and according to Ukrainian experts was going to shut down all Ukrainian business by the end of June. Joe Biden’s support for Ukraine transferred this meltdown to the US economy and then worldwide with Russian sanctions that didn’t hurt Russia. They were geared to hurt you.

After demanding the world stop buying Russian oil and fertilizer, Biden just increased US oil imports from Russia by 43%. Before he sanctioned Russia, the US was buying 10% of its supply from…Russia.

The CNBC article calls Medvechuk a pro-Kremlin politician living in Ukraine. What the [email protected]? That’s like calling Donald Trump a pro-Kremlin politician living in the US. Oh, the media did that too, remember?

Zelensky recently got rid of all his opposition in the next election by illegalizing 11 political parties and nationalizing media to the point that if a foreign journalist writes something his administration doesn’t like, it’s an eight year prison term for writing the facts.

Ukraine’s little strongman is making all the same moves his political idol did in the 1920s-mid 40s. MSM and the Democratic Party are eating this up and picking up pointers to turn on MAGA and other reform oriented republicans this November.

What you are witnessing is Joe Biden’s dream come true in the form of a Ukrainian pronoun. Which pronoun is still out for debate, but let’s look at the facts.

Joe Biden and the Dems would love to follow suit and marginalize anyone opposing their agenda. Wait, that’s been going on since 2015.

Joe Biden and the Dems would love it if his detractors were forced to hate what they hate because of political ramifications in spite of the facts and evidence to the contrary being available. Zelensky did by nationalizing media and making it illegal to report news that made his hair look bad.

Sorry, that’s old news in America now isn’t it? MSM has been carrying this torch since the beginning of the Ukrainian-Obama-Clinton-Biden information operation began in 2014.

Joe Biden and the Dems would love to prosecute their political opponents in media like Zelensky and send them to Russia. Once again, old news.

Biden and the Democrats dream about using a militant wing like Zelensky found with Azov to create tragedy and make them look heroic, caring, and patriotic. In 2020, didn’t Biden and the Democrats do the same thing with Antifa and BLM? Sigh, old news again.

What this shows is every step Ukraine’s Zelensky is taking shows his government is rabidly nationalist. Don’t confuse patriotism with nationalism. They are very different. Most of the 3rd Reich SS were socialists and came directly out of the first generation of Antifa in Germany.

For Ukraine it started in 1991. The following is a statement from the last Ukrainian president Mikola Plavyuk when he turned over the powers of state to Ukraine’s first president Kravchuk.

Ukraine, being an integral part of the empire under the name of the USSR, nevertheless had its own President. But he was abroad. When August 24 was proclaimed, and on December 1, 1991, a nationwide referendum confirmed the restoration of the Ukrainian state, the last President of the exile was obliged to act in accordance with a historical document signed by Simon Petliura. Why did he transfer his powers to Leonid Kravchuk, how he perceives the present realities, which sees the prospect of our state … These and other questions on the eve of Independence Day are answered by Mykola Plavyuk, the last President of Ukraine in the exile.”

To receive the powers of state, Kravchuk agreed Ukraine would develop into a fascist nationalist state. Simon Petliura murdered over 100,000 Ukrainians, including over 35,000 Jews in his bid to create a nationalist Ukraine.

Until 2014, Plavyuk’s always failing form of nationalism was the rule in Ukrainian politics. After Maidan, the WWII version pushed out the WWI version and stepped up to the despotism of Zelensky today.

The following is from Ukrainian nationalist historical sources. According to Taras Kuzio, in 1945, OUNb (Bandera) leader Slava Stetsko went to Berlin begging Adolf Hitler for money to build more armies. After 1991, Stetsko moved to Lviv and ran for a Rada seat for her party CUN. She served in the Rada and has the distinction of being the only WWII 3rd Reich leader to hold office in the country where her OUNb armies were responsible for millions of deaths including staffing Hitler’s death camps across Europe.

CUN had a militant wing called the Stepan Bandera All Ukrainian Organization or Trizub (Banderi). Dimitro Yarosh was the leader of this group and her bodyguard. We have a WWII nazi leader Slava Stetsko (1st generation politically) and her successor in Ukraine, Dimitro Yarosh (2nd generation politically) behind the scenes in charge of all the nationalist groups and their funding inside the newly formed post-Soviet Ukrainian government. Today, these groups threaten Zelensky with murder if he exits the war.

Zelensky shows he prefers the 1930s unchallengeable Bandera nationalist leader model as the ultimate ruler to the parliamentary rule of government they were given in 1991.

Our grandparents had a term they used for Zelensky’s preferred leadership style- Nazism. Religion and politics are different things. Stop confusing them.

Adolf Hitler was on a Time cover like Zelensky. Before Hitler became the most hated man in the world, he was one of the most beloved by politicians and media across the world…like Zelensky. If this is true about Ukraine, and it is, what does this say about Joe Biden and the Democratic Party leadership parallels today?

Speaking of suspect and despicable propaganda, that's an excellent description of this article you posted, by a "journalist" employed by the Russians-George Eliason.

I do not believe we have always been thus, but in about the last century, and certainly after WWII, we have become the great Babylon. It is heartbreakingly sad to see imperialistically corrupt we have become.

Except on Memorial Day and Veterans Day, I cannot get myself to fly the flag in front of my home and admit that.

UMC: "Creative Destruction Media AKA CD Media News is an Anti-American questionable source" SCP: "And you are a liar." The articles on https://creativedestructionmedia.com/sections/news/ speak for themselves. First, I'm instantly cautious of anyone who loses their minds over the mention of Stepan Bandera because unless you're a Soviet fanboi no one gives a s**t about Bandera who was killed by the KGB in 1959. Second, too many predictions of gloom and doom on this site...almost as if they're trying to target the soft minds of the loony wing of the charismatic Christian movement. That stuff might play well with the crowd who breathlessly await the latest 'prophecy' from some clown on You Tube but it's not serious news. Yes, the Daily Mail is a tabloid. But just like the Enquirer they have a nagging habit of occasionally doing a good job and I am certain that CDMedia does the same albeit with a pro-Russian and anti-American agenda writ large. Also, it's quite revealing that they admit having John Mills on staff when that guy's raison d'être at the end of his career was psychological operations (propaganda).

It is important to research article source. I felt it was an importance fact to share. But, he didn’t appreciate candor & responded in attack mode! Oh well.

I consider myself an American patriot. If cut I would probably bleed red, white & blue! :)

Creative Destruction Media AKA CD Media News is an Anti-American questionable news source. This was not my opinion, I sent him their Mission Statement!

“The mission at Creative Destruction Media is to be the catalyst for the “process of industrial mutation that incessantly revolutionizes the economic structure from within, incessantly destroying the old one, incessantly creating a new one.”

“Lincoln arrested and deported his opponent.”

Stephen Douglas died of natural causes in 1861 and his personal relationship with Lincoln was warm and cordial to the very end. Douglas may have been a Democrat but he was also an ardent supporter of the Union, he opposed secession, and would have never been arrested for sedition let alone deported to the CSA.

Anti-war Democrat Representative Clement Vallandigham of Ohio was the one expelled beyond Confederate lines in 1863 for giving an anti-war speech.

The Daily Mail posts true information on US matters, such as on the Hunter Biden laptop back in 2020. when it was forbidden on US media. And likewise re the Trump “Russia” hoax and etc and etc. And this goes for most cites of the DM over the years, during which it was consistently a favorite source on FR.

Until this February, when all of a sudden the DM is somehow unworthy. You cannot say “true” to tons of that coverage going back two decades, and then “false” just for the stuff you object to. It makes no sense.

I suspect hysteria or insanity on your part.

I see the little ankle-biters are doing their predictable screeching of “Putinist!” and “Putin Puffer!” (what does that even mean?) at anybody who dares to criticize the object of their worship.

Yeah I shouldn’t have said we were always like that, after WW2 and more specifically the last couple of decades is when we really started going down that road. I foolishly kept thinking that as the last war would end people would see how much was spent for what would seem like little or no advantage, and we would ease up on these various interventions, but that certainly hasn’t been the case. If anything it has just gotten worse. I know a few people who travel extensively and when people inquire where they’re from they pretend to be Canadians just to avoid any possible negativity lol.

It was a singular case. Clement Vallandigham was the opponent of Lincoln's war who was expelled behind Confederate lines in 1863 pursuant to a military commission convened by General Burnside. There was not, and never has been, any provision in law to expel any citizen behind enemy lines, or anywhere else.

In Ex parte Vallandigham, 68 U.S. 243 (1863), the U.S. Supreme Court held it lacked jurisdiction to hear an appeal from the military commission.

Read the Ukrainian constitution. When doing a feal either with NATO or with the EU or with Russia, the President must have a mandate in the Parliament.

There was an overwhelming cross party mandate for the EU Free Trade Association agreement... That Yanokovych tore up at Putin’s request.

There was mixed support for NATO membership, mainly from people who have known Putin has had his eyes on Novorussiya since the 1990s.

There was minority support for a Russian deal in principle, but Yanokovych didn’t bother to consult their Parliament before signing possibly the worst deal in history for Ukraine.

That deal handed Russia the means to seize Ukraine economically and blocked Ukraine from being a stronger link in trade between Europe and Russia.

The result of his actions included a complete breakdown of Budapest, annexation of Crimea rubber-stamped from Russia by both Putin and Yanukovych, a brutal civil war, and targeting of pro-Putin Russians living in Ukraine.

A destroyed country and a huge bumber if dead Ukrainians is ultimately the consequence of actions taken in Moscow, by Russia and by Yanokovych personally.

Pinning the blame for any of that on a guy who didn’t even enter politics for another five years is pure, desperate revisionism.

Yanokovych is absolutely the biggest bad guy in this. And i hear that from Rusdians from Ukraine who’re now refugees in Europe.

One told me the fate of Nicolae Ceaușescu was too soft. They don’t want to be in NATO, they do want better relations with Rusdia, but they also want to be in the EU Free Trade Area.

Yanukovych, on Putin’s ordered, destroyed all three of their hopes.

How the hell is that “playing both sides”?

“Yanukovych might have been a corrupt politician like all the rest of them over there, but at least he thought he was doing what was in the best interests of Ukraine.”

Oh, that’s priceless! You could say the exact same thing about just about every major traitor in every history book, that sold out to the enemy big time.

They always think they’re doing it a favor. That Benedict Arnold, great bunch of lads, but his heart was in the right place. Judas Iscariot... Poor guy needed the money. Yanukovych is in good company.

Despite Yanukovych being likely to win an earlier election, Russia still poisoned one of his rivals just to make sure, and he imprisoned another on trumped up charges. That was years before Euromaidan.

Putin’s always wanted him to be the President. And Yanukovych has always been subservient to Putin. Yanukovych is Ukraine’s answer to Belarus’ Lukashenko... Another grubby, grasping, thieving Putin hand puppet who could easily have played the middle man between Europe and Russia but instead sold out to Russia... and took a huge kickback while opening gates for the Russian occupying forces.

Granted, until Russia had Crimea handed to it on a plate by Yanukovych, most pro-Russian Ukrainians had no idea just how deep in Putin’s pocket their president was until he literally handed it over without a debate. If he’d been allowed to stand in the 2014 election I doubt even Donbass would’ve voted for him.

A similar story is unfolding in Kherson. Russia’s preferred city administrator got 2% of the vote in 2020. By some accounts he’s planning to flee to Crimea because not only does the Ukrainian population want to see him dangling from a lamp post, the Russian citizenry wouldn’t mind that either.

Some of you see to have it in your head that I’m a Putin fanboy or something. Nothing could be further from the truth. I’m too much of a libertarian to ever put up with that authoritarian crap, and don’t like Putin or have any desire to live in Russia. I just consider myself a realist, and accept how things operate over there and their nasty evil politics. It’s not like I can do anything about it, that’s up to the Russian people to take care of. My issue is the US unnecessarily sticking our nose in another mess, how did things turn out in Iraq or Afghanistan? Both had leaders who were even worse than Putin and our interventions did absolutely nothing to improve the situation in either place. And both came at huge cost, trillions of dollars, all down the hole for nothing.

These countries exist in a rough neighborhood and have to deal with things accordingly. I’m not interested in us rescuing anybody, or pretend we are gaining some geopolitical advantage, because it never works out that way. If you want to play hero and go rescue them then take you ass over there and do it, and leave the rest of us out of it. We have enough issues right here at home we need to deal with, we don’t need to complicate things by getting involved in every sh!thole in the world.

There’s something of a difference between Iraq and Ukraine.

Gulf War 1 was entirely justified. A rogue state invaded another, in complete violation of international law, conventions, treaties and UN membership expectations. So a multilateral response was merited, and the aim of the game was to put Saddam back in his box.

Ukraine is comparable to that.

Gulf War 2 by contrast was a misuse of the NATO invocation following 9/11, just as was Turkey’s attempt to draw NATO into its personal beefs. It’s misuses like that, that empowered Putin. Not legitimate action in accordance with the UN Charter like we took in the 90s.

Irrespective of any belief in a Deep State takeover, regime corruption, presence of nazis or islamists, the world cannot afford to have any sovereign state invading any other sovereign state on the flimsiest of whims and justifications. If it has a compelling argument for “peacekeeping” or “special military operations” in another country it should be capable of securing multilateral support first.

Question is, why would any superpower voluntarily submit to that higher authority. Russia clearly doesn’t care what the rest of the world thinks. China often doesn’t. The USA often doesn’t. The UN Security Council veto makes it impossible to sanction the most egregious abusers of UN founding principles,if they have an ally at the table.

You’re completely right. If America really has had a gut full of the thankless job of acting as the World Police, maybe it should leave the UN Security Council and leave NATO, declare itself neutral, and join the international club of hermit states.
