He’s just trying to make the oil companies RICH, by driving up the price of oil.

Brian Cates:

“Joe Biden and his administration are literally doing every damn thing they think of to get the American people to hate them. They are exploring NEW WAYS to get people who don’t even pay attention to politics at all to HATE their guts.

And believe me, it’s WORKING.

The louder Biden whines this is really Putin or Trump’s fault, the more pissed off normal Americans are going to get. “

If the GOP has any cajones they file articles of impeachment first thing tomorrow morning. I know it won’t pass congressional vote, but this is a red line and a deliberate criminal action by the Biden presidency.

Why purchase a lease when Biden would never let you develop it.

That was little red Lyinghood go to response when asked about Jim Crow Joe Biden Castro’s handling of the energy crisis is they have plenty of leases but what good is a lease when the President is telling you to not produce any more oil & gas, telling banks not to lend them any money for oil and gas exploration, and that the country will be off of oil and gas by 2035 while shutting down any new drilling because of the Communist green deal. Why Republicans are not driving this point home every day shows they are with him on energy. DNC=GOP both headed to the same a Progressive Communist state one is Bullet train and the other is at 55mph but both go to the same place.

Not enough rope, tar and feathers in the world.

(What with the supply chain crisis and all.
Of course it’s ironic that tar is a petroleum product…)

I can't find the piece I was looking for but it's clear that old wells do rejuvenate and some wells that were capped are now being uncapped suggesting that dry wells can reproduce oil again and do rejuvenate.

Possibly the way they originally got crude to begin with.Lots we don't know about how to get crude. It's hardly at peak oil and it appears there is no such thing as peak oil.

............................

https://www.forbes.com/sites/michaellynch/2018/03/13/old-oil-fields-are-a-major-source-of-new-supply/?sh=61bcc12a3ee4

Here's a clip:

For most of the past four decades, oil supply forecasts (non-OPEC, that is) have tended to be too pessimistic and a major reason is the difficulty of analyzing new reserve additions and incremental production from existing fields.

The activity is relatively small-scale, meaning it doesn't make most analysts radar scopes, and the data ranges from limited to non-existent. But given that the average recovery factor globally is less than 40%, there are easily hundreds of billions of barrels that can be accessed with better technology and more investment.

In the short term, the error is not very large, but longer-term, it adds up and is a major factor behind the perceived scarcity that has dominated the expectations of so many.

...........................

Bottom line any country with half a brain will be using crude, nuclear, wind, solar and anything else that will produce energy.

Do that, especially here in the US and we will once again be kings of energy in a year or two.

But when your objective is to destroy a once fine nation like the obama third term now in progress is it's not even under consideration.
