This is why California has the largest migration of kids out of public schools into home school or private schools. I read that the last 6 months in California has had 100,000 kids taken out of public school per month

Because it’s CA, that’s why.

All part of the plan that has been taking hold for the last few decades: Dumbing down children and kids provides an easier pathway to controlling them as a populace.

Because the school board is performing below adequate levels.

School administrators are performing below adequate levels.

Their teachers are performing below adequate levels.

Their home is functioning below adequate levels.

The community attention level is below adequate levels.

You do realize the majority of woke idiots are not from California, right? Oh of course not, it’s easier to blame California for all your problems instead of dealing with reality

The title of the post talks about California classrooms ergo, the reason for my post. It seems you have to deal with the reality of what is posted in response to an article’s subject matter. I have no problems with CA; their problems are their problems.

ANOTHER REASON TO HOMESCHOOL

This ping list is for the other articles of interest to homeschoolers about education and public school. This can occasionally be a fairly high volume list. Articles pinged to the Another Reason to Homeschool List will be given the keyword of ARTH. (If I remember. If I forget, please feel free to add it yourself)

The main Homeschool Ping List handles the homeschool-specific articles. I hold both the Homeschool Ping List and the Another Reason to Homeschool Ping list. Please freepmail me to let me know if you would like to be added to or removed from either list, or both.

Yeah, but come on, this is just ciphering (and readin’ and writin’). They’re WAY ahead of grade level on the white kids knowing that they’re oppressors, vagina gazing, banana birth control, and all the IMPORTANT stuff! You can only do so much in a day.

‘All part of the plan that has been taking hold for the last few decades: Dumbing down children and kids provides an easier pathway to controlling them as a populace.’

Our adult children are in their mid 50’s now, and like you noted, “This B$ has been going on for decades”!

They attended public schools in 3 different California cities, and the pattern was the same. Dumb down the above average kids and ignore the average and below kids.

I spent hours with asst. and the real principals stopping the B$ and making life miserable for them to stop the B$ from hurting our children.

One son dropped out of regular school and did the GAT and then trade school. He has done very well in real life.

The other son was in the top 5% of his classes and often taught some of the math and science classes. He had a math teacher, who didn’t understand math. That loser was going to flunk my son until I had a couple of sessions with the principal and asst. principal.

Our resolution was my son got an A, the teacher left him alone, and his teaching contract was not renewed.

Flash forward to our Grandkids. One actually helped the so called math teacher in the Seventh grade to teach the math.

Then their designated High school for her and her younger brother had roving gangs and zero structure.

So her parents, my wife and I and an uncle helped fund their 8-12 years at two great private high schools. They crushed their SATs and had scholarships offered at many excellent private schools outside of California

The grand daughter just became an RN as a grad for an excellent east coast school. She got a $25K per year scholarship and California wouldn’t let her into an RN program.

Her brother has had excellent results at a good California
School of Engineering. In spite of the Covid B$, he has worked every summer and holiday with an excellent Engineering Company. He has a keeper position this coming summer in a major hospital retrofit with that company. In spite of the Covid B$ he will probably be graduated ahead of time next spring or summer.

“California Classroom Why Are The State’s Students Performing Below Grade Level”?

Yes, because everyone passes. Until students are properly assessed and teachers given the right to fail students (including the whole class, if justified), it will never improve.
