Vladimir Putin appeared to walk with a limp and sat with a blanket over his lap during Victory Day commemorations in Moscow today, raising fresh doubts over his health.

-snip-

at several points - including as he left a speaking podium and went to the Tomb of the Unknown Solider to lay a wreath - Putin appeared to be walking with a heavy step, as if trying to disguise a limp.

And, during the parade itself, he was seen sitting with a heavy blanket across his knees despite geriatric war veterans being sat around him with their laps uncovered.

Kissing a kid on the belly is not the worst thing. It could be worse. A LOT worse:

He’s walking the same way Hitler did in April 1945. He has Parkinson’s disease and shows it the same way.

A lifetime ago I had a huge book on WW1. A hardbound book that covered the pre-war years, the war and the post-war years. It included reproductions of old posters, flyers and cartoons. Very thorough book.

I remember one of the cartoons showed an English POW explaining to his German guard that the Kaiser’s bad arm was caused by “over manipulation of the Imperial Manhood as a youth.” Which of course made the German guard mad.
Why I should remember that particular cartoon is beyond me, but I can’t forget it.

Russian dote on their kids in a way most Americans would find over the top.

That's always been the case in Russia.

To Russians the past is too painful to remember , the present almost always sucks and the future is always uncertain.

So, to the Russian way of thinking kids are the only hope for a better future.

That is more imperative today because Russia is a dying country.

It's population is decreasing and alcoholism is rampant.

A blanket over his lap is a sign of poor health??? Seriously??? SMH. As we age our blood thins, so, it’s not uncommon to see older folks with blankets while sitting outside on cool days. Go to a park and see how many grandmas/grandpas have afghans on their laps and chances are the afghan was probably knitted or crocheted by grandma herself. As for the limping, seriously, since when is a limp a sign of “poor health”?? Maybe because he sat still for two hours his muscles tightened/cramped. Maybe he twisted his ankle slightly and was walking it off, sheesh, I’m no fan of Putin, but this OMG OMG OMG he’s limping and has a blanket on his lap nonsense, is just that, nonsense.

Let’s hear more about Joe Biden. Oh, you can’t lie or tell the truth about him. Everyone wishing Putin was in poor health or getting pumped up other this kind of negative pressof a world leader during wartime doesn’t understand what sick people do; they generally do something so they can see immediate results.

Biden is in worst shape, thus the US is in a worst position that Russia.

By way of reminder, Vladimir Putin is just 2 years short of the average life expectancy of a male Russian.

That is a fact.

The right arm thing is his KGB gunslinger shtick. It’s like the right hand is always poised to pull.

Medvedev used to do it with him, when they strutted around in his youth.

You're a freak. You're as obsessed with Putin and the liberals were with Trump.

If you have a thing for Putin find the picture of him riding on a horse with no shirt on a relieve yourself.
