Democratic activist and second-time gubernatorial candidate Stacey Abrams aims to build on the energy of President Joe Biden's 2020 win in Georgia to flip the governor's mansion blue, but polls suggest the former state House of Representatives minority leader still faces an uphill battle.
Georgia has not been led by a Democratic governor since 2003. The conservative southern state also has a significant Republican lean, which polling analysis site FiveThirtyEight assesses as being plus 7.4 points in the GOP's favor. But in 2018, Abrams lost to Brian Kemp, who is now the incumbent Republican governor, by a relatively narrow margin of just under 55,000 votes—about 1.4 percent of the total ballots cast.

Plenty of folks simply will not vote for Kemp. I know if I were still a Georgia resident, I wouldn’t.
Whatever it takes to get RINOs out. Yes, even if that means enduring 4 years of Abrams.
It could be more than four years Abrams. If elected she could be re-elected. Never underestimate the Republican political estabishment to screw up.
Nominate Kemp and she will be the next Gov of GA.
She’s already the next governor of Georgia, no matter who wins the primary. We’re just going through the motions. It’s pretty much a coronation.
Her Fraud Machine is still in place.
I live in GA. I remember when GA was a dem state.
And when the blacks marched to Forsyth Co, which was a “white county.”
I look at most states with elected dems and figure I don’t want to live among them.
Kemp was the one.. The last hope.. Who gave the US Senate to the dems.
And Kemp and Rafensburger refused to follow thru the charges the election was stolen.
Trump was furious with Kemp.
There are some questionable background on Kemp.. But no media has pursued it..
Some time past, A young man was killed when his car exploded on the road. The man worked for Loeffler.. Who Kemp gave the GA senate seat.. And the young man was Kemps daughters boyfriend.
Doug Collins and a handful of conservative Republicans were on America’s Voice this past week. The GA people have to know what and who..
A man came to my door 2 weeks ago.. Wearing a jacket with Kemp name.. I didn’t let him talk... I said I won’t vote for him.. He’s a rat and turned on Trump.
The man said he hears that a lot.
I hope the poll takers are just anti Trump and will say anything.
Kemp was the first governor to start lifting the beer flu BS, and Trump gave him all sorts of crap for it. He doesn’t owe Trump a damn thing, and I’d vote for Kemp just for having the stones to go against the beer flu tyranny. If you all in GA want to be ruled over by a gap-toothed IQ 45 water buffalo, go on ahead, though. I’ll take a RINO over a low IQ wannabe fatass African dictator land whale any day.
If Kemp is the RinoPublican nominee, she’ll win.
The entire top tier of the GA GOP assisted in the Big Steal.
They will reap what they sowed.
Kemp will probably win the nomination handily. Purdue is simply a terrible candidate.
Kemp isn’t my favorite oerson, but he’ll get my vote if he wins the nomination.
Staying home in protest and getting Abrams instead seems like cutting your nose off to spite your face.
Kemp did nothing regarding the 2020 steal, including refusing to call a special session of state legislature to investigate the overwhelming evidence of election fraud that was presented during the senate election hearings.
He sold GA out to China which is well documented on FR.
As a resident of GA, I would have preferred another month of lockdown over Biden as the illegitimate president. We would have survived that. I do not know America will survive Biden and his handles.
