Beijing: Chinese President Xi Jinping issued the strongest warning yet against anyone who questions the country's zero-Covid policy.
The move comes after many Shanghai residents have taken to social media to call for help and vent their anger over severe food shortages and lack of access to medical care over the past five weeks, reported CNN.
At a meeting chaired by Xi on Thursday, the ruling Communist Party's supreme Politburo Standing Committee vowed to "unswervingly adhere to the general policy of 'dynamic zero-Covid,' and resolutely fight against any words and acts that distort, doubt or deny our country's epidemic prevention policies."

Mao stuck with policies that killed 10’s of millions. Pretty good evidence that the CCP leadership is not interested in backpedaling. Was it Laowhy86’s video?
Yup! His channel and ADV China channel are much watch channels for insights on China.

The covid gestation is say 14 days. If there is 14 day total lockdown the opportunity for passing covid from person to person is eliminated. Thus, in Shanghai the covid spread opportunity will wither
Xi has no vaccine at all. He thus has no defense at all.
I have never visited China but know the population density is mind boggling. If covid gets loose, really loose, the result can be incalcuble deaths
Xi is a natural leader for liberalism’s global government. They would love to have the power to kill people in the name of Utopian whims.
There are videos all over of the “white angels”, police, literally Saran-wrapping non compliant citizens for transport to Covid camps.
No doubt such images really arouse our own leadership.
