The Russians certainly do their best to show their primitive and savage mentality, no different to North Korean or Chinese propaganda.
Aren’t they already wearing uniforms?
“Russian forces are planning to dress up thousands of Ukrainian prisoners of war in military uniforms during next week’s Victory Day parade in Mariupol, a Ukrainian official claimed Thursday.”
Or:
“ “These men are held there and they are told that they will be made to wear the Ukrainian [military] uniform and to participate in a so-called ‘war prisoners parade’ in Mariupol because they [the Russians] lack actual prisoners of war,” the adviser said on a national newscast, Ukrainian media reported.”
______________
One statement says it’s going to be Ukrainian POWs and the other statement say the Russians lack actual POWs.
More Propaganda dressed-up as news.
Very confusing article.
Are they POWs or just civilians?
“Russian forces are planning to dress up thousands of Ukrainian prisoners of war...”
Sounds like the Ukrainians are SURRENDERING in much larger numbers than the media wants us to know.
Always amusing to see who takes this bs seriously.
Wouldn’t this be against the Geneva Convention?
Pure Propaganda fantasy dictated by Ukraine and dutifully written down by the Drive-By Media.
Isn’t that a war crime?🤔
The author doesn’t understand the definitions of terms such as “POW” and apparently assumes that anyone taken prisoner in the course of a war is a “prisoner of war”.
Putin wears the powers of the Tsar so is this a parade like the Caesar’s had in ancient Rome? The description of parading the prisoners certainly matches and the ancient title of Tsar comes from Caesar as does Kaiser. When the Second Rome, Constantinople, fell in 1453, the Rurikid dynasty in Moscow used their Orthodox Christian affinity to Constantinople to claim the Rome heritage as the 3rd Rome.
What I want to see is Vlad in the parade, in a chariot with the slave holding the wreath of victory over his head while whispering that “All glory is fleeting!”
Orcs gonna do what Orcs do.
Geneva Convention no longer in effect?
Not that it ever was during an actual war.
Bezimenne, huh?
The "hamlet with no name."
Regards,
While this isn’t a declared war to my knowledge, I believe this would be a direct
violation of the Geneva Convention if it were.
Russia is stooping to Hanoi Vietnam’s level of shenanigans now.
You aren’t supposed to parade POWs in public.
Perhaps uniforms with Nazi insignia in a weird attempt to justify their invasion?
