President Eisenhower, in his final address to the nation, uttered words that will remain relevant for ages.
The following is a key excerpt from that speech:
In the councils of government, we must guard against the acquisition of unwarranted influence, whether sought or unsought, by the military-industrial complex. The potential for the disastrous rise of misplaced power exists, and will persist.

The military-industrial complex that Eisenhower was referring to is the nefarious alliance among governments, arms manufacturers, arms dealers, and mercenaries.
This is a coalition that profiteers from wars and hence uses its powers to compel governments to enter optional conflicts. The fact that the lives of civilians and armed personnel are lost and trillions of taxpayer dollars are wasted hardly matters to them.
This is a symbiotic relationship.
The arms dealer or defense contractor donates to the politician and perhaps promises them lucrative jobs after their retirement from politics.

Because the deep-state/neocons have a total grip on Washington DC, our Federal institutions, and media.
America needs to go through its own form of "de-nazification" to remove the malign influence of these people.
Only a fool or propagandist believes that.
A war would be just what they need to suspend elections.

Awhile back I read an article where the author argued that the United States was (unfortunately) in the grip of a “victory disease”. We won WW II handily. It was a very impressive achievement. And so we believed that every war from then on we would also win handily. America was invincible!
Korea, Vietnam, and Afghanistan proved that stupid idea to be wrong. But yet many people believe it to this day.
If Putin takes out CNN, MCNBC, New York Slimes and Washington Compost, he will have effectively exterminated the command center of the Biden regime.

At this rate, it doesn’t really look like there will be much to intervene in come November. If Russia holds out that long, their military wouldn’t be in any shape to resist if we did intervene, short of going nuclear.
Yeah, that’s not going to happen. First of all, even a single nuke launched at any US city would trigger a full retaliatory strike. Second, it would trigger NATO Article V and Russia would suddenly be at war with all of Europe as well as the US, and he can’t handle even fighting a single, 3rd rate European country as it is.
If those bastards get us into a war with Russia, Russians will be the least of their worries.
Oh yeah…they would send a nuke today if it increased their chance of winning…

That’s not how it works. Not at all.
Nuclear wars are an all-or-nothing scenario. There is no polite agreement that Russia gets to blast one of our cities and we only respond by hitting one they don’t mind us hitting.
If they nuke Waco, Texas we obliterate every population center and military target between Estonia and Japan.

Remember Biden admitted the Russians would do a small incursion and he would deal with it then? The Democrats want this war. Rally around the flag, hide the money laundering, destroy the chemical weapons labs, I don’t know. What I do know is the anti-war crowd is completely on board, even if it means nukes. Suddenly not one peep from any leftist anti-war group, and not one single word about any peace effort. Pelosi and Shiff went to Ukraine and blistered about “our” war and that we won’t stop until “we” win.
Oh sure, first we mind controlled Russia to force them to invade their neighbors, and now we are using our mind control beam to prevent them from turning around and going home. Makes total sense.

I know we see war as a human tragedy, but in reality it's a legal and financial matter as the powerful see it. People killed or harmed is really inconsequential other than purposes of state run propaganda outlets steering public opinions and emotions.

Same for FDR, who was elected to his THIRD term while pretending to be “neutral”, but was all the time both declaring that America’s sons would not die in a foreign war, and poking the hornet’s nest of the Axis Powers (Germany, Italy, and Japan), hoping to stir them into making an attack upon US interests.
Japan took the bait. And almost immediately expressed grave doubts, but meanwhile overran US interests all across the Pacific, until the turning point at the Gulf of Leyte, which broke the back of the Imperial Japanese fleet.
Yes, they would start a nuclear war, kill millions of people, to save their sorry asses...............
