Immediately following a Politico report that the U.S. Supreme Court was poised to overturn a decades-old landmark abortion ruling, Roe v. Wade, CNN legal analyst Jeffrey Toobin warned how the draft came to light, which was through a leak, would have a lasting impact on the institution.
Toobin told CNN host Anderson Cooper the leak was a “shattering experience,” and he was not sure “how or if the institution” will recover.

And who decides what those powers are? The Supreme Court gets to rule as to what is constitutional.
One way to eliminate them as a final arbiter and give people more sayso regarding the rulings of the Supremes is for the legislature of the law they passed that is being challenged at the SC, to have the power to overturn whatever decision it comes up with with something like a 2/3 majority vote.
Similar to overturning the veto of a president or governor.
