This was my first thought too. An attempt to shame them into reversing their decision and save face.
Does anyone think it is odd that the SCOTUS leak would mean that the court on its own is going back to review a previous decision? My understanding is that some new case would need to be before the court that would cause it to again review a previous decision. For example the court’s separate but equal reading in Plessy vs Ferguson was overturned by another case Brown vs Board of Education. This leak is obviously a last ditch attempt to stem the Democrats bloodbath in November, but to me the whole context of the leak is wrong. I do not think the court on its own would go back to review a previous decision. Something about this smacks of fake news.
Personally, I’ve always thought they take way too long to issue decisions after hearing a case. Bang: nope, the us constitution doesn’t say anything about abortions, so that means it goes to the states or to the people.

I will be at all surprised when we learn the FBI/DOJ ran the operation to steal the draft opinion from the SCOTUS email or file system.

I believe it is clear, the reason is to coalesce around court packing and to rally the amoral around Democrats.
Face it, Democrats are losing and they’re not going to put up with it. Republicans have no fight in them and will work with the Democrats.
Either that or to trigger someone into attacking the conservative justices to create openings SloJoe can fill.
One thing the left does very well is control the language of the debate. We have to start using this same tactic. I hear too many Republicans using the phrase “Pro Choice”, when we should be calling it “Anti Life.” We have to stop using their term “A woman’s right to choose” and describe it instead as “A woman’s right to kill.”
There is nothing in the leaked opinion stating what the vote is/was.
Has anyone mentioned the timing of the leak? 2000 Mules premiers in select theaters and the SCOTUS leak happened at that exact moment to suck the oxygen out of the room.

Story comes out yesterday and by nightfall mobs with pre made signs converge on Supreme Court. Leaked criminal disclosure proves inside coordination between leaker(s), Democrat party, and media to undermine 3rd branch of Government.
It also gets the Ukrainian military collapse in the eastern part of that country out of the headlines.
And that’s important for the media, since they’ve been telling us from day 1 that Ukraine is ‘winning’.
