Representative Adam Kinzinger (R-IL) said Sunday on CBS’s “Face the Nation” that the hearings of the House Select Committee investigating the riot at the U.S. Capitol on January 6, 2021 would show “new information.”
Anchor Margaret Brennan asked, “The chairman for the committee investigating the January 6th attack on the US Capitol announced a series of public hearings will be held in June with the very first one scheduled for the 9th. Congressman Adam Kinzinger of Illinois is a member of that committee, and he joins us this morning. Good morning to you. Congressman, do you expect this to be more of building a public narrative, or will new information come to light in these hearings?”

A 4 hour protest where protestors were not only encouraged to enter the Capital by the FBI, but were even welcomed by the Capital police who opened the doors for them.
Meanwhile for 4 years US citizens had to put up with terror attacks in every major city by Antifa and BLM who caused billions in damages, cost lives, maimed cops, destroyed businesses, all of which was openly encouraged by democrats and not one person in Washington even suggests an investigation.

Is this dude a Schiff mini-me? Always going to be a bombshell in the future. I guar-on-tee, if there were anything truthful and interesting, it would have been leaked to the NYT or WSJ a long time ago.
If they had anything, they would lead with that. They have nothing so they're trying to build up innuendo and intrigue hoping someone makes a mistake that they can exploit for political gain.
Actually they have something, lots of something. Lots of evidence and proof that there was nothing resembling anything that could rise to the level of "insurrection". They are carefully hiding, ignoring, and misrepresenting it.
If the Republicans had real leadership, they'd be ramping up the rhetoric about not just booting people like Schiff from committees (which should have been done years ago for his terrible behavior and leaks of classified information) but actually expelling members who deliberately used this investigation in an attempt to deny citizens their rights.
It probably won't succeed, but the Trump impeachments were never going to succeed either but the dems made a huge circus about that. An expulsion hearing would be thoroughly warranted, assuming the Republicans don't blow it and can retake the House in November.
