Because Ukraine is “kicking ass” WITH the help of the US (and other people). Ukrainians are fighting well, and therefore they are making good use of foreign assistance.
I know it requires a relatively sophisticated brain to grasp these complicated concepts. One day, perhaps, with our assistance, you to may be able to understand these things too.
I dont think western artillery is in the house just yet. The first M777’s only crossed the border a few days ago. I may be wrong on that.
Most the earlier dead general cases were from plain old Ukrainian artillery. If the intel is accurate and the GPS location is good (”village of xxxxxx”) and the artillery direction is professional then a barrage from any grouping of guns with modern standards of Circular Error Probability (CEP) should make it very dangerous to be a general within artillery range.
