Arkansas Governor Asa Hutchinson on Sunday became the latest Republican to publicly toy with the idea of running for president in 2024 -- potentially setting up a fierce battle within the GOP if Donald Trump attempts another White House bid.
'I’m not ruling it out. That’s something that is a consideration, an option,' Hutchinson told Fox News of a possible presidential campaign.
'I’m certainly not ruling it out, because this is too critical a time for our nation and it’s a defining moment and I want to not only engage the debate now but keep my options open down the road.'
Hutchinson, who chairs the National Governor's Association, will be leaving Little Rock at the end of this year after serving two terms leading the southern state.

After a four year delay, President Trump will be picking up right where he left off when 2020 election was stolen - running as a very popular incumbent.
A popular incumbent never faces much competition in the primaries - usually only one or two chronic losers who don’t mind humiliating themselves over and over.
In 2016 there was no incumbent in the race - that’s why we had so many contenders.
A bunch of them will continue to send up trial balloons, but as soon as Trump makes it official that he’s running, the polls will show he’s favored by over 90% of Republicans, and the rest will drop out before they ever raise a dime.
Even DeSantis, who is polling quite well, will declare that he’s not a candidate the minute Trump officially declares that he is running.
The Reddest States have the worst RINOS, The same way that the Bluest States have the worst Democrats.

hour being at a local town hall meeting, arguing with his voters (who were very UNhappy and disturbed over votes they
felt he cast incorrectly) Arrogance on full display.
Second, Hutchinson, remembered (as one of many) who joined together in order to increase their voting base by claiming
they WOULD stop the scrambling of backyard satellite reception dishes but never made the effort. Big guys with big plans, larger egos.
RINOS: they belong in zoos, caged as predatory animals.
Makes you wonder where this knucklehead got the idea he could win anything. My great grandson has a better chance of beating Trump in 2024 than Hutchinson. My great grandson is five years old.
