I would think they should do both because quite a few people have lived through head shots. Might be a hunk of broccoli afterwards but still alive.

I would think a garage and running vehicle would be as good as anything as far as being humane. Gas chamber is too Hitleresque.

Of course there’s the whole eye for an eye thing so maybe it depends on what they did.

Hanging is pretty efficient if done right. Cheap too.

Guillotine? Dunno. Lay there looking at that blade and then hear it coming down?

Laser Guillotine? Silent and instant and could come from the back so they wouldn’t see it coming. I guess the severing of the head is more visually gruesome to everyone still left with a head though.

Or they could go Pinochet and use a helicopter over a parking lot.

Some of these guys deserve to be put on their backs with no hood. Pedos for instance.

No, the condemned person lies face down on the edge of a platform, with a locking brace over the neck, and a basket to catch the head underneath. I guess that other square basket is to roll the corpse into. Wouldn't want to stare down into a used basket, though. Nowadays they'd probably use a Rubbermaid tub that could be hosed out between chops.
