What does it take to convince you climate change deniers? Was it not a little bit hotter, colder, windier, rainier, dryer, more stormy, less stormy last year somewhere on the planet?
Climate change, global warming, the coming ice age, the ozone hole, acid rain, us suffocating in trash, running out of potable water, peak oil, DDT, the baby seals, save the rain-forest, whales, spotted owls, polar bears and covid, paper and glass recycling, Zika, West Nile, Swine and Bird Flu... taught me a lot about “science.”
Science is a cheap whore that is needed as a seal of approval by modern snake oil salesmen, AKA con-artists. It gets the masses which believe in science to approve or put their confidence/support in some scheme intended to get ones hands into the pockets of consumers or the government. Not to say there is no science, but VERY LITTLE that has the "science" label on it is real. Most of it is about as real as the person on TV wearing a white lab coat endorsing some product, only these schemes are national and international and deal with sums that go into the billions and have national policy makers behind them or even profiting from them.
While CO2 is universally accepted to be a ‘greenhouse gas’...it’s just a tiny fraction of our atmosphere (0.04%), a trace gas, and is only theoretical in a ‘model’ as to how much it alone causes increased temperatures. We’d need to have a separate earth to experiment on to really know...which makes this the big scam - because we don’t, so it can never be ‘proven’. ...of course, this is the whole point - a politicians wet dream. Of course, all and any solutions revolve around socialist/communist ideas.
Weird eh? They really do think we’re that dumb. Now, since COVID proved to be a complete end-around the Constitution by using the word ‘emergency’, we see ‘emergency’ being used for anything....now it’s ‘climate emergency’ and ‘gun crime emergency’, etc.. These people aren’t just playing politics, they’re naïve fools at best, evil at worst - composed of both.
They are NOT “climate safeguards” as there is no human impact on climate.

The real problem is the administrative leviathan. Cowardly Congress delegates way too much power to regulators which is subject to the biases of the regulators (remember those regulators who proudly slow-walked President Trump’s executive orders?). In addition, too much regulatory power is subject to executive orders which cause a ping-pong effect from administration to administration and cause extreme instability in the market, discouraging investment and long-term planning. Somehow Congress and/or the states need to claw back that power.
Just saying before we destroy the entire worldwide economy and starve billions of people shouldn’t we be sure CO2 heats the earth?

They should just produce a study that shows there will be no impact on the climate, no matter how much CO2 they create. That would be entirely accurate.

I keep looking back at what Pence did and wonder how he lasted as long as he did. He was and is a huge traitor just waiting for his moment. He had it and now the nation suffers.
