This would be a common practice in hostile takeovers.

about that poison pill..
But that pill may not stop other entities or people from acquiring their own shares of up to 15% of the company. Those owners could partner with Musk to force a sale, make changes in the executive ranks or push for other overhauls of the company.
Don’t much care for partners. Too many voices guiding direction/mission.

He has to combat the Poison Pill. I think he is just doing a master troll at this point to make money.

Do you think Musk would have problems finding partners to make a quick 18% profit? I don’t.

Don’t much care for partners.
They don't have to stick around to run Twitter, they just have to stick around long enough to make a fast 18%. Unless Biden can threaten them indirectly, they'd be crazy to pass up fast, free money.

I suspect Musk has a PLAN that he is unfolding and only he and his "inner circle" are aware of what they're up to. Chances are very strong he will achieve his goal one way or another. In the end, I'm wholeheartedly cheering for Musk to BLOW the LID off of the criminal fraud and deception control that Twitter and other BIG CORPORATE social media are complicit in.

Depends on the partner. Peter Thiel would be a nice fit, for example.
